We really enjoyed the trip, both with the stops with our driver/guide going to Salzburg and our tour guide in Salzburg. Worth the price. We booked privately the funicular for the time on our own after leaving our guide and before meeting up with our driver for our ride back to Vienna. Amazing views of the city. We also had time for a drink in Mozart Plaza after the funicular. A long day but very professional and enjoyable service.

Hello junepng, we offer a 12-hour Private day-trip to Salzburg from Vienna by van with an english-speaking driver, as well as a private walking tour in Salzburg with a local tour guide (1.5 hours). En-route to Salzburg you will visit the gorgeous Lake District with it's lakes, mountains and alpine villages and you'll see many locations from the "The Sound of Music“. The tour includes stops at Lake Attersee and in St. Gilgen at Lake Wolfgangsee, After the walking tour in Salzburg you can spend the remaining afternoon in Salzburg before you return to Vienna. Hotel pick-up and drop-off are included. Recommended pick-up time is 7:30am. The price for the private tour is € 940.- total in our standard van. Since Salzburg is inbetween Munich and Vienna, you could also take a train from Munich to Salzburg on June 11th. We'd meet you there for a walking tour with a local guide and after some free time in Salzburg (depending on when the tour starts) we'd take you back to Vienna via the Lake district as described above. Hi jheals, our small-group tours are perfect for single travelers. Thanks to the intimate group size it's much easier to socialize with the other people on the tour than on a big bus tour where the group size can be overwhelming.
