Découverte à l'occasion d'un concert quatuor classique, l'acoustique de cette église est exceptionnelle. Ambiance très baroque, l'endroit idéale pour entré dans l'histoire musicale de Vienne.

Piacevolmente colpito dall’interno di questa chiesa in puro stile barocco!!! Piccola ma ben tenuta e conservata, merita una pausa di raccoglimento spirituale.

L’église sainte Anne est magnifique.
J’y suis allée pendant la messe et c’était très impressionnant. Je vous recommande d’y aller pour observer les peintures… L’entrée est gratuite.
On peut même réserver un concert classique en soirée.

Tucked down a side street in Vienna St. Anne's was a special visit. Absolutely beautiful interior. Take the time to find the church you will be glad you did.

We attended a really nice concert at Saint Anna's Church, with works by Mozart & Beethoven, specifically for string quartets; the players were really learned ones and gave the exact mood for both composers. Only when the concert was over we realized how uncomfortable the pews were. We recomend an early arrival at the church as attenders will seat freely.

Wundervolle Kirche in Wien, die in sehr üppigem Barock gehalten ist. Eine absolute Augenweide, wobei man diese Pracht dann schon auch mögen muss. Von außen wirkt die Kirche gar nicht so prächtig.

Sought tickets to a smallish classical concert as opposed to the ‘dinner and a show’ options around town and was so pleased. The price was right, musicians talented, just the right length.
The show started at 8 and we arrived ten minutes late so we sat in the back and it was mostly full. There were a few children that didn’t much want to be there, but they were swiftly brought to the back near us to sit quietly.
It wasn’t a terribly warm day so the inside of the church was bearable. I don’t recommend it though if it’s an especially hot day.

We visited St. Anna’s church on Easter evening for a classical concert. I really enjoyed the concert in such a small, intimate venue and the acoustics were great. The church itself was gorgeous and I spent about half of the concert looking around at all the paintings on the walls and ceilings. If classical music is of interest to you (the concert was only an hour) I would recommend trying to grab a ticket to one during your stay. If not, consider dropping by the church while out and about to admire the interior.

We saw a string quartet play here, the acoustics were a bit muted but we enjoyed the program. Great location to walk around before or after the show.

I am planning to visit St Annes church for a concert. Where can I find tickets? I saw that all the concerts are sold out but the trip advisor lets me book some tickets. Can you help me please?

We purchased our tickets on line, but they were also selling tickets at the church itself that evening. Church is very small but quaint. I highly recommend going to the concert there.

Their website says Sunday and holiday Holy Mass times are 11:15 a.m. "Choral Office" and 6 p.m. "German Singing Mass"

hello, I am currently in Vienna as an exchange student and am interested in attending various concerts and operas including church concerts. I have a rather simple question though, with the church concerts, what sort of dresscode is expected?

Some churches say no shorts or short skirts. Big scarf comes in handy for that...

Are the concerts in conjunction with daily Masses, or are they scheduled separately? We will be in Vienna on October 18, 2016. Is there a church website where I could see the schedule and order tickets?

There is a website. Annaskirche, I think. The concert I attended was extra.
St Peters on the Graben is also excellent for music and Stephansdom. Most is online. I never use "viennaconcerts" usually too commercial. Many churches have full mass with strings snd singers. Donations; no tickets. Look for posters on church walks. Abundance. Karlskirche is a beautiful cathedral, but concerts are for tourists. Do not buy tix from guys on the street.
