We rented a car and took the ferry to the Lyngen Alps. It was an excellent day trip from Tromso. We decided on the Blue Lake Hike and really enjoyed it, but the whole area is beautiful and a must see!

I drove as far north on Lyngen as I could. There is a parking and the start of a hiking trail leading up to the northern tip of Lyngen. There you will find silence, a small 2x2m wooden hut, a secluded beach, a boat smashed to pieces on the rocks, other islands, peace.

Brilliant tour, great guides and stunning scenery. Felt privileged being able to do this tour and see what we saw. Lovely hot chocolate and delicious fish soup as part of this tour. Everyone that owned/ worked as part of this tour were really welcoming. An added bonus was that we were also taken so see and cuddle huskies! My partner left their phone in the thermal suite and the owners/ staff couldn't do enough for us to find it and get it back to us as we were on an early flight the next morning. Recommend unreservedly...thank you so much all.

Ja, man får faktiskt en alpkänsla när man går här. Vi körde in på lite småvägar, parkerade bilen och gick upp till höjderna. Här fick vi en fantastiskt vacker vy över området. Så enkelt att ta sig hit och så vackert. Man behöver inte gå särskilt långt från bilen för att få en fantastisk vy. Brant är det förvisso!

For ett utrolig vakkert sted. Vi ble litt lei å kjøre langs fjellene for å komme frem dit vi skulle til slutt. Men det å stoppe opp på andre siden for å ta en lunsj å se på alpan, det var unikt vakkert. De store fjellene som ruver over gir en unik spirituell og stor følelse av at det fremdeles er naturen som bestemmer og ikke oss mennesker. Husk å legge ett måltid hit.
