Ble godt mottatt av en ansatt som tok seg god tid til å forklare hva vi skulle få se, slik at vi kunne være litt "føre var" . Veldig bra med tanke på at vi hadde med både en 10-åring og en 15-åring, og derfor kunne få store variasjoner ifht reaksjoner.
Sterk og viktig utstilling. Veldig bra med brosjyrer som ga litt tips med tanke på håndtering av samtalen etterpå med barna.

Totally engrossing and fine presentation of the event. Could not be more straightforward and respectful of the victims and their families. I am American- the Oklahoma City Memorial and Museum there is the ONLY other such venue I have been to that is this moving and impactful
On the observer. Home grown hate in both with just no explanation except the sad conclusion that (sometimes/usually) childhood neglect and mistreatment can lead To what we call “evil”- right wing narcissism and hatred for “the other”, fed by social media radicalization. Same as Rabin’s killer- a home grown hater of the other.
Don’t miss this in Oslo.

Deeply moving memorial, please visit, the remembrance is so important.

A deeply moving memorial to the victims of the 22nd July attack both at the government offices and at the youth camp at the island. It's not the easiest of places to visit (or find!) as it's very moving and challenging but it's worthwhile and important. The stories of both survivors and victims are offered, along with the facts and details of the event as it unfolded, and an analysis of the background and the Norwegian response (overwhelmingly in the spirit of reconcilation and peace). An immense thanks to all those that contributed to the memorial and those that run the centre. Leave plenty of time to view everything, reflect and speak to the centre staff.

Commemorates the horrific attack

The worst day in Norway since World War II began that July afternoon and shocked the country and the world.

It is a fitting memorial to the 77 victims killed and the hundreds others injured.

It was heartbreaking to see pictures of all the victims. Majority of who were at the beginning of their lives and attending the island summer camp during their school holidays.

The phrase Never Again is contemplated and pondered. It is uttered after so many outrages and attacks on innocent victims.
