It was my birthday weekend, and my friends surprised me with this cruise. We were first welcomed with drinks and the view was so nice. First of all, I enjoyed myself as it was my first time experiencing the cruise.
However, the DJ was not keen and open to more reggae songs suggestions. The food portion was very little as well, especially when I don't eat goat curry and the lady who served me did not provide me any alternatives. I had to ask her for the veggies but she seemed not keen about it. Moreover, there was members of staffs who were not as pleasant as they are supposed to be on a sunset cruise.

My family & friends went on a 3 hour Dorset queen cruise to celebrate my Birthday. In the build up to the day Jon (owner) could not have been more helpful in ensuring what we required was provided.
Dorset Queen is well turned out with very smart indoor / outdoor areas.We were welcomed on board with either a glass of Prosecco or a beer, a nice start !!! We then cruised around Poole Harbour area and saw some beautiful sights including a wonderful sunset. We had a good BBQ, plenty of drinks & a well used dance floor to add to the enjoyment of it all.
Dorset Queen, Jon & his on board team (Darcey & Ken) worked hard throughout to ensure we had a great time. I would highly recommend it for such like events.

A lovely way to celebrate my significant birthday with family and friends; combining an hour and a half's trip on the beautifully restored, immaculately clean Dorset Queen, followed by the afternoon strolling through the tranquil gardens and verdant woodland paths at Compton Acres. It could not have been better, especially as we were blessed with sunshine, blue skies, favourable winds and tides which meant we could go out of the harbour, a little way towards Old Harry rocks. The Dorset Queen crew gave us a genuinely warm friendly welcome and excellent service; they have clearly worked hard to reach and maintain high standards. I think we could almost see our faces in the beautifully varnished seats and decking. Thank you to you all for making my birthday adventure as special as it was.

Chartered the Dorset Queen for my husband's surprise 70th birthday celebration, having previously sailed on an afternoon gin cruise several years ago. What a super experience! My husband, family and friends had a wonderful afternoon on board this fantastic motor yacht - and the weather was glorious. If it had been colder or wet there would have been sufficient cover indoors but most of us remained on deck in the sunshine to enjoy the maginificent views and scenery. We were warmly greeted with welcome drinks on the Quay and sailed around Poole Bay, the islands and Sandbanks for three hours - all very leisurely, comfortable and relaxing with BBQ on board. The wonderful crew were pleasant and attentive. I had even booked a jazz band 'Revolution Club' to play throughout the afternoon - they has liaised with the crew beforehand and the music was superb. All in all, the whole process was seamless with excellent communication all round. We had great feedback from our guests too. Thank you, Jon and Dorset Cruises for a wonderful time - we will be back!

I was gifted an Afternoon Tea with Bottomless prosecco via Buyagift.
I love being out on a boat, I love prosecco and love afternoon tea, so this was a well thought out present!
The boat was very pleasant and nicely decorated. The highlight of the points of interest along the trip was good and the prosecco flowed nicely.
As an Afternoon High Tea, however, I felt a little let down.
There were no cake stands as advertised, which wasn't the end of the world as we were on a boat. Finger sandwiches were offered around and you could pick either brown or white bread. Following this, we were offered a scone with clotted cream and jam, and then after one small cupcake (a choice of vanilla, chocolate or strawberry). This is where I felt let down. The description on the website reads "You will be welcomed aboard with a glass of chilled Prosecco, before being shown to your table to enjoy homemade sandwiches, scones, cakes and Dorset Tea." My favourite part of an afternoon tea is the delicate little cakes and fancies, this is what constitutes a High Tea. A cupcake does not equate to what cakes you should expect with a High Tea. After we disembarked, we went straight into Wetherspoons for snacks as we were still peckish!
The weather was sadly dreary on the day, but the staff were friendly and attentive. The tour itself around the harbour, the staff and the boat itself I cannot fault - it's just a shame the content of the tea itself let it down.

We did the afternoon tea trip and would definitely recommend it. The tea was superb, bottomless prosecco, and the staff efficient, friendly and welcoming.

Me and my fiancé went with two friends on the gin cruise Friday evening , what a fabulous event , the Gin flowed with plenty of mixers and canopies were offered round by the crew, accompanied by background music and a brilliant sunset . The views in Poole Harbour were spectacular and we even went out to Old Harry Rocks . Can’t fault this trip .
Jon and his crew are a great team if your out and about in Poole this summer check them out .

We had a delightful cruise on Dorset Queen from Poole Quay to Wareham with helpful staff, on this attractive historic ship. She is lovingly maintained with quiet engines, glistening varnish and superb upholstery.
The panoramic views were great and the highlight was seeing several deer at the waters edge.

Sorry for the late reply Micky.
We do a Party Cruise from Poole Quay every Saturday night, 7pm-10pm.
It is £30 a ticket which includes an onboard BBQ as well as a Welcome Cocktail and guest list entry to various clubs in Bournemouth afterwards.
Unfortunately no companies run from Bournemouth Pier anymore as the Pier itself has become unsafe to load and unload from.
