"A grand day out, Gromit."

Luckily we chose a good day for the October weather, dry but overcast. Informative leaflet given out by kiosk at Poole harbour before departure had all the info needed re arrival, departures, train times etc. The mini cruise was great with an interesting commentary from the captain. Swanage is an attractive small town, with some nice little shops. We had a brunch in a cafe, then plenty of time to wander leisurely to the station for the train to Corfe castle and a climb to the top. The return train and cruise back went well. It al made for a very enjoyable day out. Recommended.

It’s was a birthday treat for my other half and the boat driver made it great! Super funny, not boring and didn’t over talk

We enjoyed a fantastic boat trip to Swanage aboard Solent Scene. The booking process was made very easy and the boat was very easy to locate at Poole Quay.
Bob, our Skipper provided an excellent informative and amusing commentary and on out return trip, went well out of his way to provide us with some wonderful views of a pod of Dolphins that came along side us. All other crew and staff members were helpful and friendly. I would thoroughly recommend this cruise and also the Steam Train ride to Corfe.
The one downside to the trip, is the very expensive parking in the Quay public car park, obviously nothing to do with City cruises.

Excellent, from buying a ticket to being on the boat.

My day trip started with the lady at the kiosk (sorry I didn't get her name), she absolutely understands customer service. I didn't pre-book, and due to catching the lifting bridge I missed the cruise I wanted to go on. I spoke with the lady about why I wanted to go on the cruise, and despite it being very busy she found me a place on the next cruise.

The cruise itself was informative without being information overload. I loved how they told us about a tall ship that was moored near Swanage, that extra bit of info meant we weren't left wondering. Very informative, and as a local I wasn't bored, yes something's I already knew, but plenty more I didn't - thank you for a great trip

Wonderful trip. Great views and a very informative and amusing commentary from the skipper Davis. All the crew were polite and friendly. Excellent value for money. Refreshments served on board too. Would definitely recommend 5*

'Solent Scene' private hire Poole

Hired 'Solent Scene' for a unique afternoon party cruise for 80 guests. Excellent communications throughout with Helen from City Cruises. Fantastic on-board experience from the Captain and the Crew. Excellent bar on board. Plenty of space for all guests to mingle and chat and of course enjoy the wonderful views. Worked our really well. Recommended.

Highly recommended.
We really enjoyed our cruise to Swanage. The crew were all lovely and the commentary was amusing and informative. The Prosecco was pretty good too!

Did not realise Poole Harbor was so big. Lovely trip, with good informative commentary from the Captain who had a sense of humour, George was his name. Will do the other trips one day. Thank you

Lovely welcome, comfortable seats and great commentary from the captain! This was for our wedding anniversary and it was a really interesting experience. Thanks to City for a great time. We would certainly go again.

Lovely cruise along the coastline with a short stop at Swanage where you could stay aboard or disembark.
Informative guide given, didn’t really interact with staff but they seemed friendly enough
