We had a great time in the murder hotel room! Made it out with seconds to spare! Big thanks to the staf for being so fun and helpful! Great room, we can't wait to try the others!

We had such a great time! We played the murder hotel room and it was so much fun and very detailed. The clues were quick and helpful and the staff were really lovely - would love to see some more that aren’t scary as I would love to go back and do another room!

Had a wonderful experience playing 'Seance' tonight! The balance of atmosphere is perfect and the puzzles are beautifully thought out. Amazing room once again from enigma. Thank you again to Kieran for being a great host and incredibly skilled Games Master. I love it here. Would definitely recommend if you're in the area! Happy Halloween!

We took on all three Escape Wakefield rooms today and had a great time! All three rooms are very different and each present a different challenge. Seance is a very different room to most and the nerves start way before you enter the room! I've never screamed so much but the room itself is very clever and extremely well thought out! All the rooms are. Lucy & Kieran are a great team and are very welcoming (and Lucy is very reassuring when you're having a freak out about Seance, Kieran not so much 😂)
Would highly recommend the venue, team and rooms!

Had a fantastic time , started with Murder Motel which was brilliant, puzzles and padlocks , we enjoyed it even though we got locked in. Rebooked and did the Seance afterwards, that was even better, very creepy the atmosphere was brilliant best one we’ve ever done. We had a lovely host Ava really friendly and helpful. We will go back and do another, 100% would recommend.

I’ve done a few escape rooms. But this one was one of my favourites. We did the Murder Motel room. The host, Kieran, was lovely. 100% would recommend.

We did the murder hotel room. Brilliant fun and the staff were enthusiastic and made the experience well worth the money. Great that Wakefield has an escape room and would recommend everyone to give it a go. We will be going back!! Thanks for having us.

Absolutely amazing
Kieran was the crew member i think that’s what you call it, and it was my 18th!!
Absolutely made it even better.
The clues, the hints! Everything it was amazing. I really do recommend

It was our first escape room.... Wow wow wow I couldn't have asked for more. Absolutely amazing experience, puzzles and scares throughout. Will be returning again and again. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Brilliantly well thought out rooms, definitely worth a visit!
We completed all 3 of Enigma Wakefield’s rooms, Murder Hotel was my favourite - loved the story and creepiness and everything made sense. Wonderland was very fun and had a lot of slightly trickier puzzles that fit the theme. Seance was something else entirely. I was absolutely terrified, it was so atmospheric and a lot of work had gone in to make it so clever and immersive. Absolutely worth a try even if you’re a massive wuss like me!
We had a good chat with Kieran the owner who was so friendly and helpful and did the story briefings perfectly for each game. We’ll be back for your next room 😊 thanks!

Is it suitable for young children aged 8-10 accompanied by adults?

We have three rooms to choose from. Seance and Murder Motel are not suitable for children that age. However, Escape from Wonderland is very accessible for younger players with adult support. Thank you for your question.
