An amazing day one on one tuition with Ben! Great guidance and techniques on climbing Hound Tor Dartmoor. I would highly recommend these guys!

Booked the archery and axe throwing package as part of a stag day for my lad ,Robin and co were great ,and we all had a thoroughly great time , would definately book other events with them, good wooded location brings you a bit closer to nature

Just wow - what a day!
I booked myself and my two 9 year old sons in for half a day of bushcraft, homemade pizza cooked in an outdoor oven and archery in the afternoon, and it all exceeded my expectations.
Robin and Tim were both very friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, engaging and great with kids. The whole day was pretty tailored to what my boys preferred to do, so they were guaranteed to enjoy it all. I'd expected it to stop earlier in the afternoon, but we got through so much stuff and I was surprised when the end of the day came and it was nearly 5pm - such good value for money!
Learning how to gather and prepare firewood, lighting fires in various ways, harvesting nettles and making tea from them, roasting marshmallows & popcorn on our own fires, shelter building, telling the time using the sun, making rope, seeing ourselves really improve our archery from having done none while we did various fun archery challenges - there was just so much to do.
Not only was it fun but we were well provided for too (especially considering it's in the middle of the woods) - toilets and handwashing facilities were there and with the gorgeous pizzas we assembled were also an array of fruits, salad and sweet foods (such as chocolate, cakes and marshmallows) as well as hot drinks.
Very highly recommended - whatever you book you will not be disappointed!

We had a brilliant morning trying to escape the woods. The concept and clues were excellent and kept our 2 teenagers very engaged. Lots of fun and would highly recommend to anyone.

Fantastic morning's archery led by Tim.
Myself, my wife and our 12-year old daughter all had a great time and we could all see improvements in our shooting as the session progressed.
The setting is a very picturesque woodland glade giving it a real Robin Hood vibe!
Highly recommended for novices and those with some archery experience too.

My husband and two sons (13 & 11) had a fantastic afternoon on a private Sump caving trip. Communication from the company before hand was excellent and they were able to offer us the trip on the date and time we wanted.
They were greeted by their friendly guide Robin, who provided good quality wetsuits, boots, gloves, harnesses, hat, torches and overalls to wear. And a snack and drink for the snack pocket! We had provided sizes but he bought along a selection of sizes in case they didn’t fit.
A short walk to the entrance of the cave and they were off. They spent a good 4 hours underground scrambling, climbing and abseiling through the caves and underground rivers and waterfalls. Culminating in the sump - a section of the cave completely submerged underwater.
They had a fantastic time and Robin was a great guide.
They would not hesitate to recommend the company. We look forward to coming back to explore some of the other caves they visit.

Absolutely brilliant couple of hours paddleboarding in Taunton as a hen weekend activity. Ben, the instructor, was knowledgeable, encouraging and lots of fun! We travelled along the river, played games and learnt skills. The booking process was easy and prices were reasonable. All emails were responded to quickly.
Would definitely recommend this activity and Somerset Adventures.

Our trip was part of a friends 40th birthday celebrations, Somerset Adventures were amazing, we had an afternoon of archery, Robin was really patient and was on hand to answer all our questions about our techniques to help us improve. The scenery is very tranquil and beautiful, a little tricky to find but the instructions are really helpful. Highly recommend.

We (family of 5) had a memorable afternoon caving with Robin near Cheddar Gorge. He was well informed and excellent company. The equipment was good and I had complete confidence in him as our guide.

A brilliant experience of caving and climbing. My son (17) and I had a great time with instructor Ben who was informative, encouraging and an all over lovely guy. I went out of my comfort zone both in the caves and with the climbing because he helped us to feel safe throughout. Thoroughly recommend Somerset Adventures!
