Lovely Gardens for a peaceful stroll

Thoroughly enjoyed our stroll through the Italian Gardens today , lots of flowers still in full bloom offering lots of colour.
The gardens are very well maintained and cared for lovingly. Very clean and tidy.
Lots of seating areas to just while away some time in the sunshine.
Well worth a visit !!

Beautifully just Beautiful

What a joy these gardens are. When we visit Scarborough we park up at the Esplanade so we can walk through these beautiful gardens down to the Spa. Well kept and a perfect place to see the south bay. Plenty of seating and litter bins. The only thing I didn’t like was the two shelters near the spa had been taken over by a couple who had pitched their tent inside and took exception that we were passing by, the other shelter had a very drunk man in who shouted at passers by, such a shame. Definitely recommend but be careful near the Spa shelters.

A tranquil spot

We always visit this beautifully laid out garden when we come to Scarborough, it really is a peaceful place to visit to get away from the busy sea front. The garden is well maintained with beautiful bedding plant displays in the borders.

Absolutely loved the Italian Gardens on the far side of South Bay The situ and the planting on different levels are amazing as is the lily pond and statue. Lots of lovely friendly cheeky grey squirrels playing throughout x So beautiful and a lovely walk from the town centre/ beach. - a total hidden gem. Would deffo recommend a visit x

Beautifully Landscaped Garden close to Town Centre

We visited the South Cliff Italian Garden during our holiday in North Yorkshire.

We strolled around the Garden which is a Grade II-listed on the English Heritage Register of Historic Houses and Gardens.
We marvelled at the well maintained Features such as the ornate Lily Pond with Statue of Mercury and the colourful Flower Beds which are terraced. Two Classical Pavilions are at either end of the Garden.

This is a place where Visitors can enjoy tranquil surroundings away from the hustle and bustle of the Town Centre.

We very much enjoyed our Visit there!

These gardens are so lovingly cared for and are looking very pretty at the moment. Enjoyed an evening stroll last night, so peaceful apart from the birds tweeting. Always a lovely escape and a great visit as a local.

Peace and quiet

Always have to call here when I holiday in Scarborough, but the last time I came it was still being renovated. Thankfully the renovations have been completed and what a job they've made of them.
All the surrounding path that was heavily eroded has been resurfaced and the shelters have been done up and re painted ,it looks much better. The council has just started to replant all the borders and the flower beds have been planted. If you visit Scarborough call in to the garden to rewind.
