What a fantastic theatre, we went to see Cinderella last night, the performance was amazing, such a professional show. The staff were brilliant everyone we met were so helpful . I highly recommend this theatre , we have booked again for sister act in February, really looking forward to our next visit . Give your selves a pat on the back. A real gem in LYTHAM

I called in at the ticket office today to book for the majesty show WOW THE CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS OUTSTANDING there was a lady volunteer doing the bookings she should be employed to educate people the art of customer service she took time to explain the seating situation and advised me which sets would have the best view so thought she was worthy of a review so thank you to the lady on. duty at 12 noon on Thursday 22nd dec you are a star

We love the lowther - the events, the gardens, the shows and the cafe and are happy to pay to park but recent increase was 20% which is more than anyone gets in income - it’s still worth £3 but then 20% rise is very insensitive at this time - it won’t deter us but feel a little dismissed as we are pensioners

We attended a Newton Faulkner gig here one Saturday, it was a stripped-back affair too, so basically one man and his acoustic guitar.
Everyone turned out in their finery, pregnant women came out to see a nice relaxing show, as did the infirm...only to find there was NO seating, except for 5 or so occupied priority type seats (no idea how they knew to book) in the lower left corner near the stage.
Alarm bells went off when I saw the tickets said "General Admission" on them, like a student union...you need to read the gig guys, or at least make it very clear it's not seated! If it's Metallica then it's standing, if it's a vocalist with an acoustic guitar, it's seated, one size doesn't fit all with gigs.
This was the least appropriate all-standing gig I've ever attended, and rest assured at my age, had I known it wasn't seated (which I guess you only find out AFTER you've booked), I wouldn't have attended at all. Many people spent their time sitting around the outer edges of the floor, leaning against walls.
To top it all, for what and where this venue is, the bar is VERY expensive, £7.80 for a large wine, nope!
First and last time I'll be attending anything here...

Booked tickets over the phone to collect on the night i.e. 7th Aug to watch Chris Connor. Collected tickets on the night they were not isle seats, as requested, but in the middle of a row and as my wife uses a walking stick and has heart trouble this was unacceptible, after my wife asking for our money back we finally got seats (chairs) at the side of the theatre but had to move them ourselves due to a support pillar being directly in our view of the stage other people near us were also complaining obout the seating arrangments. The whole incident was very unprofessionable by the staff concerned. The show however was good.

A very good experience from start to finish. I bought 4 tickets on line, collected them a few days later which went smoothly. Arrived on the night, shown to our seats by friendly helpful staff. The production was excellent re lighting, acoustics and visual effect. Staff friendly on leaving too.

PUBLIC TOILETS OUTSIDE THE PAVILLION!
40p to access the toilet! Took my grandson he needed to pee! The toilet was dirty, the handwashing facility wasn't working, sanitizer outside empty! I note nobody has reviewed this facility recently. Please jump on board, maybe something will be done about it.
My only regret is I didn't take photos to attach to this review!

Marked as poor due to the seating arrangements. The pavilion has seating tiers which would normally be brilliant, however each tier fits two rows of seats on each level, this meant that I watched a recent show from behind somebody's head. because it was a musical show, this person was constantly moving / dancing in there seat, this meant that I could not keep a full line of sight for the show and had to keep adjusting. Now, considering I paid exactly the same as the person in front, I don't believe it to fair. At the very least a warning of possible restricted sight for these back seats would enable people to choose at purchase.

Attended the 'Martin Turner ex Wishbone Ash'.We were a party of 4 adults. ALL staff were helpful, polite & friendly. Great sound ,great show. Would travel again great venue.Looking at what's coming up.Should be very proud of your facility.

It is up to an hour, but usually more like half an hour. Either way, you'll be directed to wait in the bar until theatre doors open.

I agree. As it is quite a small theatre, you can get a good view almost anywhere but I always aim for the centre near the front.

Drinks are very reasonable both in the theatre bar and in the cafe - you won't be ripped off.
