From the Falls carpark it’s a lovely walk to the attraction - meandering through rural woodlands and pasture, surrounded by nature in all its glory. There are interesting information boards along the route giving you information on the history and flora & fauna of the area. Once you reach the Falls, you’re aware of the cool freshness of the charged ions in the atmosphere , and the white noise of the tumbling waters. It’s all very therapeutic. We didn’t go as far as the Callander Crags, being content to just chill out taking in the scenery. Intend to return in the Winter for hopefully viewing a more dramatic water cascade.

One of our favourite places in Scotland to visit. We make sure we leave a couple of hours every trip to enjoy the scenery and it is so different depending on which season you visit.
The Bracklin Trail is beautiful, however it is very steep, and was quite difficult under foot sometimes because of the rainfall.

It is a great walk from the Main Street of town to the falls.
A lot of it is uphill on the way to see the falls, but found it easier coming back down
The falls are lovely to see especially after the rain we have had the last few days.
The track is easy to walk on and well sign posted.
Just a few people doing the walk so not crowded at the falls .
The sign post down in the main town where you start the walk says It is only half a mile ,you walk quite a way up the hill and another post says distance 1 Mile, then the next one says half a mile , that needs to be corrected as it can be very confusing and is longer than you think .
Well worth the walk in anyhow.

There are a few options to hike in this area none are particularly arduous yet the visual rewards are quite remarkable.
Scottish geological and archaeological history are both available to study.

The walk is well signposted but there is no map showing the best way to get to the summit. The signpost to the Crags points in two opposite directions, so I ended up choosing the wrong option. The path took me around halfway to the summit - it was fairly steep at times - and then the path took me back down! But it was still a pleasant walk through mature mixed woodland. It's possible to do the Crags path on a good mountain bike if you have thighs of steel. And are prepared to negotiate one set of around 10 steps.
Plenty of watering holes available in Callander. A nice walk to do, but take a map with you is my suggestion. I didn't go to Bracklinn falls this time as I'd been before.

We did the circular walk from the Bracklin Falls car park. It was we’ll signposted and is a little over 3 miles. The falls are about a half mile from the car park and are worth a visit themselves but the highlight is the scenery further into the walk near Scout Pool. Moderately strenuous

This is an easy walk from Callander town centre and the new bridge is in place making the circular walk complete again.
Regardless of the weather the view from the bridge is fantastic but obviously more rain makes the falls heavier.
Paths are accessible for most just don't wear your best white trainers as it can get a bit muddy when wet.
Lots of clear signposting from the town and along the walk and forest paths.
Free parking at Bracklinn Road end of town in designated car parks and of course there are plenty of nice wee coffee shops and pubs in Callander for refreshments when you return.
QRK cafe, The Crown and The Old Rectory are all dog friendly and excellent food value.

Easy half mile walk from the car park to this natural wonder.you hear it before you see it. We visited after torrential rain and it was fab!

Nice walk from Callander, or the hill-climb can be avoided by driving up to the car park which is about haf a mile from the falls
The falls are impressive after a bit of rain!
When I visited (March 2023), there were lots of signs saying that the bridge was down, but the new ne is actually in place and in use.

what is the easiest route to get to the bridge and falls and would i be able to do it using a pram? is there also a postcode please?

Yes, the walk along from the car park is well made and quite easily traversed with a pram I would say. However, at the point close to the falls, it drops away at a steep angle and curvy, then everything over the bridge is more difficult. You would certainly require good-grip walking shoes and good brakes on the pram, as well as having your child well-secured to feel absolutely confident on that part of the walk. It is very beautiful and worth the effort! To reach the falls is very easy, the road starts in the centre of town - but as said by others, the drive up is also steep.

We are interested visting this attraction in a few weeks ,

Hello there
trip to Callander and Braecklin falls is a very good idea.
You can drive up the hill to a wee parking place (free) and then walk for about 15 minutes to the falls. You don't need to be a mountaineer or pro walker to reach the site Just a wee slope down and then up back but not difficult
Of course the falls site id free.
if you believe in fairies then be aware that you might see something....

Yes it would be possible as there is a reasonable track to follow. If the person is in a wheelchair this would be fine. It would not be possible to go any further than the Bridge as ground is very rough from then on. Hope this helps..

i'd like to know how far is it from car park to walk until u see the waterfalls, will be with young kids so probably have to carry 2 of them...

There are 2 car parks. Travel further uphill to the second one. From there it is a short uphill walk to the falls. I did it unaided when I was four!
