Nice spot for kids

Lovely park and good spot for kids. Play area was enjoyable for my 10 year old daughter. There’s cafe and public toilets. Also a paddling pool for the youngsters. There’s a pay and display carpark just outside park

A beautifully kept local park full of things to do, see and explore.

A beautifully kept local park right in the heart of the historic North Devon town of Bideford. Close to local shops, history points and a plethora or supermarkets. Extensive grass area's ideal for picnics and letting the kids run wild. A historic fort shaped bandstand complete with ancient original canons. Close to the art gallery and visitors centre. An extensive play equipment area and outside gym equipment, a kiddies paddling pool [all free]. Beautifully kept flowers borders [in the Summer] well maintained trees and grass areas. A typical well maintained Victorian park.

Local park visit near visitor centre and museum...

Walk along the quay and behind the visitor centre is Victoria Park.
Parking is available close by, walk through the beautiful gates and we were pleasantly surprised that this was a well maintained place with still plenty of colour still in view. Flat, easy paced, a place for all the family, play areas and dogs on a lead.

Lovely park

Kids had loads of fun here , stayed for hours , very pleasant and lots of different play areas.
Also has a paddling pool, sand pit , exercise machines, swings, football area.

Super park

This beautiful well maintained park is at the end of the Main Street, we had bought an ice cream at the van outside and went in to sit and enjoy our cornets, we stayed for an hour and a half! It was a lovely sunny day the park was peaceful but we could see children enjoying themselves on the playground. A great place to sit and relax and chat to the very friendly dog walking local people as they passed us.

Nice park

This park is at the end of the high street and is a great place to enjoy the day.

There are football pitches, climbing frames and even a little paddle pool for the kids. Plenty of room to take a picnic witha couple of benches and picnic tables available.

There is a turret with old cannons around it for the little and big kids to explore.

There is a cafe in one corner so you can always treat yourself if you want.
