The Council has achieved a real success here, especially the old stable yard now called the Haigh Kitchen. Congatulations on achieving Leveling Up funding for Haigh Hall itself - this will surely become Wigan's jewel in the Crown.

Visited here with my husband and young son, there is a large car park with several spaces, there is so much to do, a miniature railway, golf, playground, walking routes places to eat, was overall a very enjoyable day and will be retuning back

fantastic day out for all the family , plenty of parking spaces , beautiful grounds and sights , lots of activities to do , gorgeous court yard with local small businesses and eating and drinking places, brillant event days well organised, all staff go above and beyond to help visitors and make their time here special , open all year round always something going on, one of our favourite places for family day out . open air cinema throughout the year which is the best around and reasonable priced .

This is spread over a vast landscape, but the focal area covers a children’s park. There are a variety of settings for children to engage in adventurous activities, besides the usual slides and swings.
Restaurant is there with limited choices.
Nice place for a day’s fun, especially if you have children.

Loads to do for kidsof all ages. Great play area and my son loved riding the trains. Plenty of food options but you could easily enjoy a picnic too. Parking is tricky but cheap and all you pay for if you want. A great find.

If you’re disabled then forget it. Today is Tuesday and they’ve shut the seats at the children’s play area off - for an event on Thursday. No seats without buying something on school half term. How pathetic. Then there is the 20 plus people queue to pay car parking to get out. Staff are uncaring about the customers. It’s all about “not my job, not my problem “. I’d take me re pictures but I can’t walk any further

Very large woodland area with reasonable maps (though not all of these actually show you where you are on that map). Anyhow, in two hours we covered just over 5 miles. There is a traditional butchers shop next to one f the two major car parks which was well worth visiting.
Parking is free for 30 mins and £1.50 up to 1.5 hrs so most end up paying £3.50 for over 1.5 hrs.

We were just walking through, but it looks a nice place to take kids to keep them entertained. Small farm shop, cafe, mini golf, ice cream, woodland walks, kids play area. Large and modestly priced car park.

Are dogs allowed in the Crazy Golf attraction? We want to come for a family day, including a walk around the grounds with our dog. But we're unsure if we'll be able to do the crazy golf too if we bring our dog with us.

Foodie Fridays are from 6pm each month, and the Artisan Market is from 10am to 4pm. All advertised on the Haigh Woodlands Park Facebook site.

Yes they have small donkey rides within the park :) not sure if they’re on daily but imagine they will be over the summer holidays.

The park is open every day. The volunteer run bargain Crazy Golf is open every day during the school holidays from 11am till 4.30pm, and at weekends the rest of the time (March - Oct.)

Hi,
I went a year ago whilst refurb taking place and the queue for the car park was pretty stressful with children in the car. Has everyone who's been going recently been able to park with ease?

We arrived mid morning and had to queue to get in. From what I could see repair work was being done to the entrance so when completed it might make accessability easier. What I did notice was we had to drive round car park to find a space but when we were leaving in the afternoon it looked as though they were using a field nearby as overspill car park. Once main car park is 75% full why not open the overspill to help congestion.
