We were on holiday in Tenby in September this year we went on a seal safari trip and on leaving the boat my husband dropped his wallet he did not realise it we returned a bit later and one of the helpful staff found it. We are very grateful and would like to thank them the trip was great Thank you

Took the islands cruise which was an Informative well organised trip from Tenby beach . Commentary gave incite to areas history and wildlife we could see. Spent time watching seals basking in beach and in the sea. Would return when puffin season. Fare price to pay for experience. Toilets and refreshments on board a bonus. Options of outdoor or indoor seating. Would recommend to any Tenby tourist.

We took the hour and a quarter tour from Tenby around Caldey Island.
The staff were engaging and the guide was informative about the local sea life and the history of the island. It was exciting to see the seals up close!
Everyone in our party took some great pictures and had an excellent experience.

We did the Island Tour. We were encouraged to book on line, but you had to book 8 hours before the trip which we weren't comfortable doing. The weather has been windy and we could not predict how rough it would be the next day. Took pot luck and booked an hour before departure. Lovely trip with beautiful scenery and commentary. Saw seals 🦭 and various birds. Boat was not overly crowded and you could move around to take pictures. Out for the full one and quarter hour.

The most amazing experience I've ever had!
Can't recommend enough.
You may think £30 per person is excessive. But it is worth every penny and more!!
If you're in Tenby, then this is an absolute must.

Excellent boat trip (we did the Islands Tour). Beautiful scenery enhanced by informed and interesting commentary. Great to have a loo on board and also snacks and drinks :)

Fabulous trip around Caldy on the bigger boat. Lovely staff, super interesting and the kids loved it. They loved the border collie on board almost more than the seals and jelly fish!

Did the Island Cruise trip around Caldey and St Margaret's island and it was really great.
The weather wasn't fantastic but it did make it fun when we hit top speed and there were some waves and spray.
Saw seals on various beaches along with a number of different birds such as Guillemots and Cormorants.
Special mention to the skipper, don't know his name, chap with blond wavy hair, very knowledgeable and well spoken about the area and the wildlife. Told some great stories about pirates, cavemen and wooly mammoths, thoroughly interesting.

Excellent trip with helpful, knowledgeable staff. Thoroughly recommend it. We and our grandchildren really enjoyed it.

We both thoroughly enjoyed the informative and fun boat trip to see some seals around Caldey Island.
When buying the tickets, we were confused why most people seemed to be queuing up for the “to” Caldey Island cruise but we are so pleased that we chose this company to go with. The smaller boat made the tour more personable and an informative experience. The skippers were friendly and were so knowledgeable about the wide variety of wildlife about. We saw loads of seals and a range of birds too. They were happy to answer any questions and made the experience really pleasant! I would 100% recommend these guys if you just want to get a flavour of the island. We personally didn’t really feel the need to go onto the Island and glad we avoided the LONG queues for the other company for the boats that stopped on the island. It was a lovely way to spend the afternoon - just be warned that I was sat on the edge and got a big soggy! It was great fun though!

£13 Round trip or £10 for seniors boats leave every 20 mins from about 10am you can stay all day if you want right up to last boat back at about 4.30

Would our 18 yrs old son who is a wheelchair user

I am not sure , if your son were able to access the boat without the wheelchair then yes as there plenty of space ion deck for
his wheelchair if not I didn’t see any kind of ramps . They may well have had them on the boat but as they were not required they were not on view . Sorry I cannot be more helpful

Children of all ages had to be an adult and as far as I could see all adults even some as young as 80 were able to go on the boats.

Hi, we are visiting Tenby in May 2018 - I know there are 2 different cruises: the Seal Safari and Island Cruise. Does anyone have any advise on which one to choose, what one is better, how they are different etc. Any info would be appreciated, thanks!

Which is better depends on who’s going I would say. The island cruise is a bigger boat with toilet facilities, drinks etc and a gentler experience. The seal safari is in a zodiac type inflatable which is faster and I imagine a bumpier ride. You can book when you arrive so it might be an idea to pop to the harbour before booking, you’ll see the boats come and go, so it will give you a better idea which is suitable for you.
