The Stone Jetty at Morecambe is perfect for adults and children alike. Very interesting stuff beneath your feet, lots to look at and perfect views. For those who are fishermen great place to fish too.

If you're going to Morcombe for this, then don't. Setal for the picture cos it is simply not worth it.

This is the nearest thing to a pier in Morecambe. There's some interesting statues and other stonework, and a small cafe (closed in the evening when we were there), but not much else. However you can get some great views across the bay and of the amazing sunsets.

Walk to the end of the jetty, take your time, sit down and take in the breathtaking views. Allow plenty of time to relax, recharge and enjoy nature. Watch the tide on the move and the amazing expanse of the shore.

Lovely stroll along the jetty, great views and model birds and art along the jetty. Even floor so great for wheelchair/scooters

We had a nice walk along the stone jetty. We watched the RNLI setting up and going out on a practice exercise on their hovercraft. There is a cafe at the end but we didn't visit it.

A very pleasant stroll and stunning views out into the Bay and back to the shoreline. Don’t miss the super little cafe on the way out or on the way back. A little bit of rail history too and a bell responding to the rising tide. A must for the complete visit to Morecambe.

We enjoyed the short walk along the stone jetty with our dog, enjoying the art work along the way and admiring the bird sculptures. The views across the Bay towards the Lakes are beautiful. Morecambe is a great place to visit!

A great walk out into the sea with excellent views most of the way around. Various pieces of art and sculptures along the way. A nice little cafe for a treat at the end too!

How far is it to Lancaster and how often do the buses go

2 Buses and a train, both go to Morecambe every half hour, bus can drop at old station and Jetty straight across road, trains go into new station, head for seafront and you can't miss it. Short walk, that's all. Train takes 10 mins and is about £2.00 return, buses take longer, around 30 mins.
