Great little place, brilliant set up and amazing cafe with a really friendly team working there. Entrance is free, but we always eat in the cafe which is great

Stopped several times in the recent years for excellent home made ice cream and a bite. Always friendly and tasty food. Had oat cake this time which is an oat pancake I believe with savory fillings. Very tasty and good to try something new to eat. Coffee good. Unfinished business with a sweet potato cake for next time. It’s a quirky place. The dining room had a wood burner so was cosy to enjoy the view.

This is a hill farm with young farm animals very entertaining for the the children
We stop here as a refreshment stop on the A.34 between Congleton and Buxton.
All delicious home made food, served by the family in the Cafe with superb views over the surrounding countryside.
We return whenever passing. Never disappoints.

A perfect venue for lunch with children. Even though the farm was busy the service was attentive and rapid.
We consumed a combination of egg sandwiches and Staffordshire Oat cakes
Highly recommended, very good value
Could not fit through the Tube Slide outside afterwards!

What a place to have a farm it's awesome a few animals to see and interact with and a lovely walk to have a wonder around the Peak District. A little cafe some award winning ice cream i believe. A must visit if you are in the area i definitely enjoyed my visit.

We called on our way to our holiday accomodation. Found it very unusual the first room we came to was small & very dark, we then saw outside seating but unfortunately was quite windy. We then found another room with a large window giving a great few over country side. You then go back to the ice cream palour to order. My disappointment strawberry milkshake with ice cream but was a shake with a scoop of ice cream in it. The animals all looked happy & well kept.

We enjoyed a lovely couple of hours here looking at the animals and visiting the cafe for ice cream.
The ice cream is delicious and even though one of us has a nut allergy we we’re still able to have ice cream as they used a new scoop and served the ice cream from individual tubs from the back. Very impressed as was lovely for us all to have ice cream without anyone being excluded.
Our 3 year old loved the animals.
We didn’t get chance to do the nature trail but will return.

My hubby and I fancied a day out and this is where we ended up; I have to say, it really is a lovely little place.
Nestled away in the greener area of our country, it is a working farm, home to sheep, pygmy goats, chickens, donkeys, ponies and cows. We started our afternoon by getting some lunch in the tea rooms, of which there are 2; tea room 1 is smaller and more intimate, tea room 2 is larger, has a lovely view and easy disabled access / family seating. We enjoyed a lovely, simple toasted sandwich with salad and crisps and enjoyed reading about what the tea rooms used to be in the early years through the information posted on the walls (cow sheds!). There were even pictures of what it used to look like (I was sat where a cow would have been stood!) The original architecture has been preserved so looks amazing.
After lunch, we went to see the animals; you can buy some animal feed at the ice-cream counter if you like. The goats were particularly friendly as were the donkeys and Shetlands. We then went on the wildlife walk (a map on the wall of the tea room shows you where to go). There are 2 walks, one longer than the other. The longer one is not suitable for wheelchairs though. You would have to stick to the shorter walk. We were a little disappointed at the length of the longer walk, it only took us about 15-20 minutes, whereas we were hoping to make an afternoon of it. But it was still pleasant.
We finished the afternoon off with an ice-cream from the parlour; so many different flavours that you don't usually see! A lovely treat. There is also a wide selection of jams available to buy and ice cream by the tub to take home with you.
I'd really recommend this farm for a trip out. I wouldn't say you could spend the whole day here, but definitely a couple of hours if you eat in the tea rooms too.
Would I recommend? Yes. Will I be back? Of course!

Great Little trip
We were on a friends weekend away and visited Blaze farm , it was lovely the goats were so funny and cute as were the sheep . The tea room was lovely great service and lovely food , plain simple food . The staff were very attentive friendly and nothing was to much trouble. The ice cream which is made on the farm is delicious lots of flavours and thoroughly enjoyable . Home made jams and chutneys available . Really loved our visit

Visited on 14th April. Been a few times but just thought I’d drop a message to say what a wonderful young girl you had working in the ice cream parlour. She was polite, chatty and dealing with a busy shop like a true professional. The icecream, as always was super delicious and the lambing shed a joy.
