A brilliant afternoon for families

I went on the self-guided sit on top kayak tour with my two boys, aged 11 and 7. It was a fantastic afternoon! Chloe was incredibly helpful and gave us some great pointers. My youngest was roped to my kayak so I could tow him when he got tired. We all had a great time and we're looking forward to coming back in the spring. Thank you!

Fantastic experience

I took my two sons, 10 and 5, and we had a brilliant time paddling along. Seb explained everything really clearly and made it a really fun experience. Highly recommended!

Wonderful experience - will repeat

Really wonderful experience - will definitely do again. I was a complete novice but Chloe was very patient and reassuring - and also tolerant of our inadvertent lateness back. I'll definitely be doing this again. Many thanks to all the team.

Great time and perfect spot!

Great time kayaking along the river for our friend's hen do thanks to Back of Beyond! Whilst I didn't organise it directly, the maid of honour was really impressed with the organisation and communication, as well as the really comprehensive advice for our friend who was pregnant and wanted to kayak still. It's a wonderful spot being able to go to Teddington in 1 direction or Richmond the other, we went partially down to Teddington around the island, with time for a quick swim and a drink in the White Hart before kayaking back. Perfect! Will be back with my dog in tow next time as great spot to bring them too.

Excellent Kayaking experience highly suitable for a large group like us! Instructors were incredibly friendly, boats were in excellent condition and on a warm and sunny day, there's no better activity to do. Well done!

Great experience

My pregnant wife and I did an unguided canoe tour with BOBA - it was an amazing experience! The staff are all really welcoming and professional - Stella set us up and sent us on our way. Stella was really friendly and delivered a personal service - even some lovely gestures for our wedding anniversary were included. We paddled down a really pretty section of the river and it felt like we had plenty of time over the 2.5 hours to make stops and take in the scenery. Would recommend!

A great way to cool off…

My teenage son and his three friends were recently taken out by Chloe and another lovely lady for a 1.5 hour kayak. This was the boys second adventure and they thoroughly enjoyed it. Especially purposely capsizing their kayaks at the end of the private lesson and cooling off.
It’s quite expensive but worth it.
