This is the second waterfall you come to on the Millaa Millaa Waterfall Circuit. It does not quite have the photogenic appeal of Millaa Millaa falls and the facilities here are far less developed. In fact, aside from the carpark you can safely say there are none. However, it is far less busy than Millaa Falls, which is a good reason to stop. The falls are still pretty and there is a pool at the bottom for taking a dip. Even in late September (in the dry season) there was still plenty of water spilling over the falls. The downside? It is a real goat track to get to the bottom and the pool, slippery and with lots of tree roots. Wear sensible shoes and people with mobility issues should maybe stick to the Millaa and Ellinjaa Falls.

My review will be much like the one before me. Approx 66 steps, tree roots & rocks to step down along a very muddy uneven track. I too went in August & I too thought it was cold. Unless you have a drone, like rock climbing or have an exceptionally long selfie stick you wont get a decent pic of these falls. Not suitable for wheelchairs. Not suitable for people wearing thongs. By far the worst walking track of all the falls I went to in North QLD. (see my pics). One basic waterfall at the bottom. You won't be missing anything if you didn't go. I used a selfie stick to get my phone camera as high as I could just to get the shots I did.

The track to this waterfall was all downhill and the day we went was drizzle rain and freezing so track was very muddy and uneven to walk along. Also once we got to bottom the waterfall was obscured from view so very disappointing as it looked like it was a lovely waterfall.

We have mobility issues and when we saw the sign for the slippery track we weren't sure whether to go or not but then thought we would go as far as we could and then if we had to turn back. As it was we made it down to the falls easily and they are well worth the walk, just take it at your own pace.

The trek to the falls was a bit too challenging for me as the path was wet and slippery. My daughter decided to go for it and managed to get some lovely photos.
She confirmed that it would not be suitable for everyone as there are some rocks to scramble around once at the Falls.

Beautiful falls. You need to walk down the track a bit, to see the falls in all their glory. The track was a but muddy but well worth getting muddy boots.

Have to walk a bit to get to these falls and a bit slippery, but it's worth it. The falls are quite spectacular and a must-see.

Just a few minutes down the road from Mills Mills falls, Zillow falls is also easily accessed and well worth stopping at. Makes up part of a very enjoyable short circuit drive.

This is a lovely waterfall although viewing of it is very obscured (August 2021) by significant overgrowth. Of the waterfalls in the area, this one does not allow for access to the base of the falls.

Car park across the road. Walk across the road and down to Zillie falls. There’s a little observation deck at the top and you can go down to the bottom of the waterfall as well. Just follow the track at end of the deck, on the left.
