The Memorial is in a beautiful park with many things for kids to do. The Veterans Memorial is well done and honors veterans of all wars. Well worth it to see!

It was erected by the veterans of World War 1.
World War 1 was a cruel place. Smoke and vapors that kill people.
They fought against the Germans.
At the end they won! Yah!

The most unique Veterans Memorial I’ve visited outside of those at Washington, DC.
The place to be on November 11th every year at 11:00.

Ingenuity & smarts built this beautiful Veteran's Memorial! Beautiful every day but amazing on Memoria Dayl at 11:00 am seeing the light come right through. If you don't do well with the ceremony & crowds you can experience close to the same experience the next day. You will see many bricks on the floor of the monument honoring service of family & friends. My husband has a brick honoring his name & service. Quite wonderful seeing it whenever we decide to go to this beautiful park in Anthem.

We went to the park and viewed this monument. It's close to parking so you don't need to walk far. It's interesting reading about it

A beautiful memorial for our veterans. I wish every public park had such a memorial. It is very noticeable from the road and near the Farmers Market which takes place every Sunday.

We live in Anthem where this is located & enjoy it often. My husband is a veteran & has a brick with name rank & yrs at the foot of this beautiful tribute!! Shines through like a miracle. God Bless our troops God Bless America!!

Heard about this memorial and decided to go visit. Was not disappointed. A lot of thought given to every aspect of the memorial. 5 pillars and 5 benches for the 5 branches of the service. Height in order of precedence for the services. On veterans day the sun lines up through the holes and illuminates the eagle that is on the ground in front of the pillars. Very moving.

I had seen the posts of this place before and always after the day of... We got up early and got the kids out for a ride. It was an amazing experience to see so many veterans out in the same place. This is a must see, even if not right when the light comes through at 11:11 am every 11/11

This is such a beautiful memorial paying respect to our fighting men and women. The concept of sun rays coming through the pillars on Memorial Day is so creative.

There is no charge.As noted earlier, there is a large crowd on Veteran's Day but you can still get a good view of the activities on the big screen. I got there late but was still able to get a good view. You will have to stand or sit on the grass if you aren't there very early.
