Abbiamo alloggiato presso l'agriturismo di Katia durante un trekking di più giorni nei dintorni di Norcia. Siamo arrivati ad Accumoli sotto una pioggia torrenziale, ma il calore dell'accoglienza di questa famiglia ci ha subito fatti sentire a casa. Eravamo gli unici ospiti a causa del meteo avverso, ma questo fattore ha reso ancora più magico il nostro soggiorno. Abbiamo cenato tutti insieme con i prodotti che la loro azienda agricola produce, dal pane, alla pasta, alle verdure e ci siamo trovati dopo cena a suonare la chitarra e cantare. Oltre alle passeggiate meravigliose che si possono fare nella zona, il valore aggiunto di un posto come questo fanno sì che la tappa ad Accumoli sia un must.

Penso di essermi ammalato, avete presente il mal di montagna? Ecco, simile, si chiama mal di montagna BIO.
La si prende quando passi da questo Agricampeggio, praticamente dopo essere stato a contatto con i proprietari del campeggio ho accusato sintomi bruttissimi, tipo sentirmi a casa e cose del genere…
Il cibo è davvero strano, lo producono loro, non vanno a comprarlo al supermercato, pazzesco! Ma come si fa?!
Un posto così lo consiglierei anche al mio mio peggior nemico!

Avete presente quando andate in un posto e ti senti a casa? Da Katia e la sua famiglia ti senti a casa senti la loro cordialità e professionalità senti affetto, siamo andati io mio marito e il mio nipotino si è divertito moltissimo stando a stretto contatto con natura ed animali tanto che non voleva andare via beh li e il posto giusto per sentirsi a casa

Trovato per caso, ma non potevano scegliere posto migliore, gestito da una famiglia meravigliosa, accogliente gentile e genuina, la cosa piu bella è stato ritrovarsi a cena tutti insieme nello stesso tavolo come una famiglia allargata, e ridere di cuore come fossimo amici da mille anni😘😘😘

Katia e la sua bella famiglia ci hanno accolto nella loro agri fattoria, il paesaggio è incontaminato l'aria fresca e.i prodotti sono fantastici: carne salumi verdure e fagioli sono elaborati e serviti in modi diversi e gustosi.le casette sono ampie e nuove con una bella vista sulle montagne.

On October 13th my newly wedded wife Cathy (Australian) and I (Raoul from the Netherlands) arrived at the agricultura campeggio of Alta Montagna bio ss in Accumoli. On a beautiful sunny day, after a stunning drive through the surrounding mountains we were welcomed with big smiles from Katia and her eldest daughter Barbara. In my best Italian I asked if they were open and if we could park our selfmade camper there for one, maybe two days. 'Of course', Katia replied in perfect English. `Stay as long as you want!'
We could choose between a field which was completely vacant or a spot between 8 comfy looking cabins. We chose the field. Partly for the beautiful view but mainly for the privacy since we were on our honeymoon. She gave us directions on how to get there and straight away invited us for lunch with the family. An invite for a family-meal in Italy one should never decline so we accepted wholeheartedly.
We swiftly parked our camper and joined them at a large table. There we met the rest of the family. Guido Pica, Katia's husband and further Roberto their son and Elisa and Sofia the two youngest daughters.
The meal started of with some of the best salami I ever ate in Italy (I lived in Tuscany for three years), a lovely 'primo' and some very tasty pieces of different meats. Cathy got some tasty bruschette, fried fresly picked mushrooms and a primo.
We talked in Italian and English about our lives and theirs and learned that the family have a organic/bio meatfarm where all the animals (cows, pigs, sheep and chickens) are 'happy animals'.
The love they have for their animals sings through the way they talk about them. They let the cows graze freely up the mountain from March to November and during the winter the mountain pastures ( national park) are given sufficient time to recover. We never experienced something like that. So free and full of love.
The children are home-schooled and helped all around the farm. Barbara is already pretty good in English and had very wise questions and conversations with Cathy and myself.
Katia made the time to get to know us and tell us about her vision on life as well and we talked about all kinds of topics and she is a funny, very wise and insightful woman. Guido worked hard and passionately with the animals and in producing beautiful meat products, of which I (Cathy is a vegetarian) tasted numerous samples. Simply delicious!!
We helped weeding the veggie-garden and helped cleaning stables and feeding the cows and pigs in the following days.(our stay of one or two days ended up being five). We shared almost every meal together and got to know the family better and better. We had the most beautiful walks up the mountain with Lilly, their dog accompanying us all the way.
If you decide to pay them a visit (and you should!!) there is a good chance you will meet us too. We want to go back there many many times to spend time with and help the family. (Cathy and I have had the fortune to have seen quite a bit of the world and we never return to the same place twice!)
We have found our 'home' with this family and the mountains that surround them. Thinking of Alta Montagna makes my heart feel nothing but love and gratitude.

Siamo stati all’altamontagnabio ad agosto come tappa del cammino terremutate da Castelluccio ad Accumoli, siamo stati accolti benissimo come già nel 2017, il soggiorno in questo luogo è un’esperienza interessante e appagante da tutti i punti di vista, Katia e i suoi quattro ragazzi e marito sono disponibili e carini con tutti, offrono cibo e racconti che tanto dicono della storia del territorio, da raccomandare e da tornare, Marinella e Lutz, camminatori delle terremutate

siamo stati con amici nella zona del terremoto.... e abbiamo scelto di passare due o tre giorni presso questo agriturismo. l'atmosfera che si respira è straordinaria. si vivono emozioni bellissime. i ragazzi sono tutti bellissimi anche nel loro modo di essere. katia e Guido anche. ma pure zia Lucia, Pietro e tutti insomma. il cibo è eccezionale e la convivialità ti prende. il risultato di tutto questo, esperienza da vivere!!!

Consigliato da un mio amico, ci sono andato con mia moglie, La proprietaria sig. Katia ci ha accolti calorosamente e da subito ci siamo sentiti come dei familiari, fuori dal locale cera un gazebo con 2 tavolate, in poco tempo sono arrivati altri clienti, abbiamo subito fraternizzato, come se ci conoscessimo da sempre. poi sono iniziate le danze, antipasto salame, salame di fegato, formaggio, lonza, coniglio ripieno e bruschette . 1° fettuccine alla matricina, 2° salsiccia, coniglio, carne alla brace. Contorno pomodori, formaggio primo sale, fagiolini. Tutto rigorosamente casarecci. Tutti i prodotti grano, farina, carne,frutta, uova, pane, pane, vino ecc. ecc. sono prodotti ad loro. Consiglio di andare.

Ho soggiornato una notte con cena e colazione. Le sistemazioni sono spartane in bungalow, ma c`é tutto il necessario, acqua calda e riscaldamento, coperte a disposizione ma non lenzuola. Il cibo é stupendo, é lo stesso cibo che mangia la famiglia, quasi tutto prodotto da loro, compreso pane e burro. Tutto cucinato con il gusto della padrona di casa, se piace piace, se no é comunque cosí. Questo é un vero agriturismo, l`attivitá di turismo é collaterale a quella agricola. E` un`esperienza unica, lo consiglio vivamente, tra l`altro in un territorio messo economicamente a dura prova dal terremoto di tre anni fa.
