Had the pleasure of spending a day at the amazing Spa. Just love the relaxing vibe here. Lunch at Terra was delicious - I had grandmas coronation chicken brioche - Definately recommend . Our lovely attentive and friendly servers were Mia, Mia B and Becky who explained the dishes and welcomed our feedback . Nicole was very friendly and welcoming on the spa desk and my facial by Erin was soooo nice and relaxing and my skin felt amazing afterwards. Finally had one of the reds on offer in the Terra bar and was not disappointed, even met Manuelle the sommelier - the perfect gent . Cannot wait to return .

My friend and I stayed over for the night for a birthday treat. The guys played golf while my friend and I had a spa day. Both had massages, lunch in Nu Sana and spent time in the Spa Garden.
It was perfect from start to finish. My therapist Lorraine was a really lovely lady, very friendly and professional. The treatment was superb. She showed us around the spa shop afterwards and explained some of the products to us. No hard sell, just a relaxing browse.
We then went upstairs for lunch. There was a lovely lady called Samantha who looked after us. She was very sweet and efficient and made our lunch very relaxing. All in all a really pleasant day. 10/10

An open letter to Rockliffe Hall Spa and Resort.
I am now in my 8th year of having been a member of Rockliffe, and over the years, I have seen significant changes across this resort, and regrettably, not very good.
For the most part, it’s been very enjoyable. The course on the whole is great, very challenging especially in the summer - I personally think that they allow the rough to grow far too long, but I accept that on that point, I am in the minority. The club shop and staff are brilliant; nothing is ever to much trouble.
This, however, is where things take a turn for the worse.
The same cannot be said for the restaurant and Spikes bar. Whilst the course now boasts a membership that is in excess of 350 members who are all paying a significant amount of money, theirs views, and my own, are completely ignored. These views are expressed with the best intention of the club at heart as we all want to see this become the best establishment it can be. The spikes bar should be for the members only. You play your round, you go into spikes for a drink, a bite to eat and to watch the day's sport on the large screen. However, a lot of the time, there are kids running around using the furniture as climbing frames. For just shy of £2000 a year (and I suspect we will tip over that figure next year), there should be a space for the golfers only. On the topic of golfers only, they need a menu for the golfers (simple food at simple prices) and a menu for the Hotel guests (other establishments on or greater than the level Rockliffe Hall is at manage it, so I am not sure what is holding us back). There is a wealth of experience sat in the pro shop and from the regular bar staff, who are incredibly helpful and understand exactly what golfers want. Last year, the staff ran feedback on an updated menu from the golfers with items put on that people want. Seemingly, the latest chef or restaurant manager wasn’t a fan, as this was scrapped within weeks with items put on that absolutely no one wants for a price that is as unpalatable as some of the food offerings, such as celeriac and truffle soup (where is the simple bar food that a golfer wants after four hours on the course?).
Then there is the ever constant restaurant manager situation that still needs resolving. Whilst I am on the point of managers, my plea is that the senior management team needs to stop listening to this revolving door of utterly clueless restaurant managers who each have bright ideas worse than the ones that came before them. The latest lightbulb moment was to not set the restaurant up and just leave bare tables during the day - this looks absolutely appalling and not particularly FIVE STARS. I don’t know if this is a cost cutting idea, but it doesn’t look good. It’s the type of scene one would expect to see in a McDonalds (maybe that is where we managed to poach this latest gem from), and if so, let’s send them back to providing people with their daily McMuffins.

Visited Rockcliffe Hall with my husband and our daughter. We opted for the sunset package and Rasul mud treatment - what a treat, we loved every minute! Rasul treatment was good fun and then we relaxed in the steam rooms, ice room, jacuzzi and hydro pool (great jets!). The spa garden is amazing and what a beautiful view of the grounds from the infinity pool! Can't wait to go back.

Very relaxing afternoon together, perfect place for couples. Did get slightly busier as the day went on however still intimate and quiet. Staff were all very helpful and approachable, and the spa was clean and all in working order!
Didn't get chance to see the outdoor spa facilities (which were an extra cost), however would happily come back!

My friend and I visited the spa yesterday both spending £200 each for the full spa day, which unlike any other hotel in the area is only 9-3, we were aware of this but I do feel it’s worth pointing out as let’s be honest it isn’t a full day.
There were a number of reasons I feel the visit was bang average and definitely not 5* as I was expecting- see below
1. Arrival pleasant, polite reception team, given dressing gown in bag- dressing gowns need replacing, mine had a hole in it and also hilarious to find a security tag poking out of the lining, obviously a high theft item.
2. Completed the obligatory form highlighting any medical issues etc I did highlight a recent op which was never queried which considering I was getting a treatment I thought would have been.
3. Changing rooms- looking very tired, locks not working, toilet area is shocking, damp, bad paint job, sink leaking etc.
4. Shower area, which is the main walk through between the pool area and the changing rooms are on par with a public swimming pool and halfway through the day looked very dirty, water all over and no staff around to keep on top of the mess created- the barefoot policy from the hotel does not work here at all unless you want your feet to be dirty!
These things could all easily be solved if a member of the team took time out to follow the customer journey themselves and see what we see.
5. Treatment time- great range of treatments, a 60 minute treatment of choice is included in the day package- we had the aroma soul and the Himalayan salt- both were excellent and a huge thanks to Erin and Lorraine who were fantastic- definitely the highlight of the whole day.
6. Facilities in the pool area , huge choice, unfortunately we didn’t have time to enjoy everything but what we did try- infra red sauna, ice room, foot spa were all great.
7. Spa garden, 1.5 hours included in the day package- we were taken through to a separate area with an infinity pool, sauna etc- this felt 5* and I was wowed as we walked in, stunning views, not over crowded, really impressed. However tiny details took it down to a 4- Rockcliffe Hall please get your team to do regular inspections- seeing chewing gum ( who does this btw) stuck to the railings around the pool, a dirty glass also lying by the pool ( we were first in on the current timings so the are had not been checked), plastic rubbish on the garden right in front of our view of the infinity pool- it’s these small details that take you down from 5* and is such a shame as this area was amazing.
8. It was now time for lunch, in between everything going on we hadn’t really had the time to experience all of the saunas, pool area etc so we were ready to have our food and get back down before the dreaded 3pm finish. The food was excellent, the service terrible however this was dealt with very efficiently by Peter the Restaurant Manager who actually came looking for myself and my friend before we even complained- thank you Peter!
As you can see not everything was bad, that’s not what this review is about- Rockcliffe has the makings of being 5* it’s either just lost its way a little or was never there and needs a few tweaks to make it great.
Would I revisit? No- I just didn’t feel it was worth it and there are better offers nearby where you get more for your money.
Rockcliffe team please take time out to be a customer and see what we see, experience what we experience and I really feel this will help you make positive changes to your spa day offering.

Visited with a friend for a spa day. What a treat!!
The staff were very welcoming and efficient. The facilities were absolutely lovely, particularly the hydrotherapy area and saunas. Just what we needed.
The staff warned us that the spa was busy when we arrived but it was absolutely fine. There were quite a few people around but this did not detract from our enjoyment or relaxation.
We had lunch upstairs in the restaurant. One course only was included (which we knew on booking of course). Extras were very pricey which was the only down side of our day. Restaurant service was excellent.
Overall, thoroughly enjoyable and very relaxing. I hope to return!

A lovely spa with fantastic facilities. The pools are brilliant as are all the saunas. The spa garden is amazing and really makes this places stand out from other spas! Unfortunately the hot tub was not working on this occasions which was such a shame and nothing was offered as compensation! Food was good but starters and sides and Diet Coke was quite overpriced for what they were! Massage was great and felt very relaxed! Would have liked the option to sit around the pool after massage or to be taken somewhere to relax after like at other spas!

Came here for a spa day for my friends and I’s thirtieth birthday. The spa facilities are wonderful and the spa garden is absolutely amazing! I would definitely go back for the facilities alone- it was so relaxing! The food was good but the extras are quite overpriced and the Diet Coke I received was a fortune considering the amount in the glass! Massage was very relaxing too! Overall a good day but would have liked the option to extend my spa day by an hour or two and was not given it!
คำแนะนำ:Definitely get a package with 90 mins spa garden it is amazing!

Can you use the spa become your check in time on your arrival day. Thanks

Not sure on that one as we didn't make use of all the facilities.
Give them a ring it shouldn't be a problem.
enjoy your stay.
