As a part of a tour, we stopped in and tasted three of their organic wines paired with small crostini starting with a white and two reds including the parent of the Zinfandel varietal. The tasting room is run by the 4 daughters (5th generation family biz) and the explain all a out the wines, the food and the genetic origins of Zinfandel from Croatia. There shady tasting room just steps from the Adriatic is the perfect spot to while away a sunny afternoon.

My friend had a B-Day and like a present I decided to come together to a wine tasting with food pairing to this wonderful place, hidden in the center of Kastela.
The first step you come in you find yourself in other world - the garden hide you from the street, the music - from the sound of the road and you meet a charming girl with a smile, who dive you in a history of winery and riot of taste.
We were sitting in the terrace with a wonderful look at the sea. We decided to try simple white and red sets . But they are not so simple as you can think at first.
So, each of them include 2 different wines pairing with bruschettas, which are on 100% supplement each other and make the filling that you are in heaven at this moment. And at the end it was also a refreshing cocktail on the base of wine with a plate of herbed cheese what was like a cherry on the top of your dessert.
What can I say more - million of pleasant words, because this is really true. Everything was amazing and my present had a success. We were enjoying the every minute. Thank you guys for what your family created. ❤

A really lovely visit, it was the perfect end to our holiday. Antea was very knowledgeable and gave us a very friendly welcome. The wines were top class served alongside the most beautiful food. We came away with a few bottles of wine which we can't wait to enjoy at home. Thank you!!

My wife and I booked via email when we arrived in Croatia. Antea's response was swift and informative. We were shown great flexibility in terms of timings.
On arriving for our tasting, we were warmly greeted by Antea, whose English was excellent. Each wine tasting was presented with most excellent Tapas type dishes, which were thoughtfully paired with the equally excellent wines. Antea then proceeded to share her passion and knowledge for each wine. The pride and love for her families vineyard was clear to see and added to our experience. We left with a great memory and four bottles of excellent wine. Please do yourself a favour and book this experience!

On the morning of our last day we decided that we were going to regret if we didn't have a wine tasting experience as we have really enjoyed the few Kastelanski Crljenak (Zinfandel) bottles during our trip. Most of the places we looked at were quite far and or needed to be reserved weeks in advance, even in late September.
I eventually stumbled upon Bedalov Winery which is actually 15 minutes from where we were staying. Antea, the daughter of Jaksa who is the primary operator quickly answered our e-mail quickly by 12:30 and answered my phone call before official hours too. We picked the time within their hours of 16:00-22:00 and had an amazing 3 hour wine pairing experience. The location is relaxing and very convenient, right on the sea. I highly recommend going 1 hour before sunset. The area is covered so you can do this in all weather.
Antea hosted us when we arrived and was extremely knowledgable about the family winery, the grape history and the connection to the area. We very much enjoyed our almost 3 hours we chose to stay sampling 6 different wines and look forward to enjoying what we purchased when we are back home this afternoon!

Very high quality wine, presented with appropriately paired food for a tasting. Each wine was intrinsically explained by a very knowledgable hostess (heiress to the vineyard) and we learnt so much and tasted so much. We inadvertently left with a case and intend to order more from abroad - cannot recommend enough!

Excellent wine, great service and spectacular setting to enjoy the wine in. Had the traditional mix wine tasting plus the premium Zinfandel, liked the base son best but all were great. Snacks were truly great too!

Diese Weinstube ist direkt am Meer gelegen an der Promenade und äußerst geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Es gibt einen überdachten Aussenbereich und einen Innenbereich. Die Gastgeberin hat uns freundlichst empfangen. Wir wollten nur aus Neugierde einen kleinen Schluck Wein probieren, doch der Aufenthalt hat sich dann auf gute zwei Stunden ausgedehnt: was uns hier serviert wurde ist schlichtweg genial! Zu den Weinen wurden uns feinste Delikatessen serviert (natürlich abgestimmt auf den jeweiligen Wein). Neben der gastronomischen Leistung beeindruckte der Wein: ein echter Geheimtipp ist der streng limitierte (nur 500 Flaschen pro Jahr!!) dobricic 2018. Dieser trockene und fruchtige Wein hat uns schlichtweg umgehauen.
Die Inhaberin hat ausführlichst zu den Weinen berichtet - ein echter Familienbetrieb, wie man ihn in dieser Art wohl nur noch schwer findet.
