Best boat rental company on Lake Como!!

What a great rental company. Had an amazing overall experience with them. There was some question regarding the weather for the time we were supposed to go out. But the crew worked with us and was very accommodating to get us out there and not fully cancel the experience we were looking forward to for so long.

Shout out to Kappa, Erik, and Andrea, they helped us and made some exceptions to even stay a bit later than expected for us to enjoy our time. Can't thank them enough for being flexible.

Don't look anywhere else for your lake como rental. These guys are the best!

Incredible experience on the lake and even let us change our booking last minute so we could make use of the sunshine instead of the rain!

Just an awesome day on the lake and a fun boat, you haven't experienced Lake Como until you've got your own boat and explored from top to bottom. The person I was with has mobility issues, so while it was tricky for them to get in and out of the boat, the man helped as much as he could. I will be returning to AC Boat next summer. One thing I would suggest is for the staff to at least state the most basic nautical laws, as basic as giving way to boats at your starboard and turning starboard to avoid collision, as I did see a few boats not adhering to basic nautical practice.

FABULOUS PRIVATE 6 HOUR BOAT RIDE ON LAKE COMO!

I found this company and decided to use them because of all their great reviews on Trip Advisor.

The communication in booking the boat excursion was excellent and they responded quickly.

Our captain was Andrea. He was MAGNIFICENT! We went from Tremezzo all the way down to Como and then back up on the other side of the lake. He explained everything in great detail that we were seeing on the lake, including the Villas, towns etc.

He had a great attitude! We loved him.

We stopped in Como for 1.5 hours to walk around on our own. We also stopped for 45 minutes at the Mandarin Hotel for a drink at their lake front bar.

It was truly a great day! They will customize you day with your preferences.

Amazing way to experience Lake Como

AC Boats and Paolo provided a magnificent experience for our private boat tour of lake Como. Paolo was an incredible guide - he was extremely knowledgeable about the region and pointed out the most notable landmarks and villas. He also was very accommodating in booking us a lunch reservation while on the trip. Paolo spoke great english, and let some of us swim a little bit to fully enjoy the lake water.

The booking process was very smooth and since the weather was a bit cooler, they contacted us early that day to check if we wanted to switch to a covered boat.

The boat was in good condition and very clean. They offered us water and other drinks.

We came to Como from the US and have loved the place and the people here.

Thank you AC Boats and Paolo for an unforgettable day!

Sunset boat tour

Great tour! We had a private 1 hour boat ride around the lake. Our captain was excellent and told us a lot about the area. Boat ride included a bottle of Prosecco which was a nice treat. It was a great way to spend an evening. I would highly recommend booking with this company.

Knowledgeable and Friendly!

A fabulous time touring the lake! We had Paolo as our captain and he was very knowledgeable. He asked what we were looking for during our time onboard and he delivered! The lake is just beautiful and we could tell Paolo was skilled in maneuvering it. We really appreciated him offering to take photos for us. The communication leading up to departure was clear and they even agreed to pick us up and drop off in Varenna for a small extra fee. Overall, it was a wonderful experience. I only wish they’d had water and snacks on board, as well as blankets as it got very cold toward the end. Still — five stars!

Ich habe für meine Freundin und mich zu zweit das 40 PS Boot für 3 Stunden gemietet gehabt. In dieser Zeit sind wir einmal von Menaggio nach Bellagio gefahren und dann noch runter nach Como. Es war wirklich eine unglaublich schöne Erfahrung und ich kann es einfach nur jedem empfehlen!! Wir hatten Glück mit dem Wetter und wir waren auch mehrmals im Wasser.
Ich fand 3 Stunden fast perfekt, aber man sollte nicht unterschätzen, wie lange die Rückfahrt auch wieder dauert. Auf dem See ist nicht zu viel los und jeder achtet aufeinander, daher gab es eigentlich keine stressigen Situationen.
Das Boot hätte locker für 4 Personen gereicht. Es ist möglich, dieses auch für 6 Personen zu mieten, was wahrscheinlich ein bisschen eng wäre, aber bestimmt auch ohne große Probleme gehen würde.

No problems at all with the self drive boat rental. We were out on the lake for 3 hours, which was the perfect time to thoroughly explore the central lake area + go for a swim. The boat was sturdy, easy to learn, didn't get wet inside, and had a shade covering. I especially appreciate how clean the boat was when we got it, and we saw an employee scrub it down as soon as we docked. For our 3 hour rental there was a fuel surcharge of 13 euro. Would recommend AC Boat if you're looking for a rental in Menaggio!

Très beau et bon bateau! Julien est très serviable et professionnel ! Nous avons passé un moment merveilleux avec les enfants... nous recommandons très fortement de louer un bateau pour découvrir ce lac digne d une carte postale!
