Questa chiesa edificata in stile neoclassico e con la caratteristica pianta circolare, si trova nella piazza principale della frazione di Seiano ; praticamente a picco sul mare, offre dall’ingresso principale un magnifico panorama con un’incantevole vista sul golfo. La chiesa, individuabile sin dalla statale per la sua grande cupola, è curata e ben tenuta e presenta al suo interno delle belle opere pittoriche e sette altari. Giungendo all’altare maggiore, due chartae gloriae in lamina d'oro, sono conservate ai lati del tabernacolo.

La chiesa parrocchiale di San Marco Evangelista ha un'ampia cupola in stile neoclassico.
È praticamente a picco sul mare con una vista sul golfo che è incantevole.

We visited at about 12.30 on a sunday morning. We were only a few minutes in there when they turned off the lights and a guy stood at the door as if waiting for us to leave, so we did. Amazing heavy door at the main entrance, well kept inside, could do with some work on the outside.

We visited this church and the area around it twice while on holidays in Vico Equense. the church dates back to the 14th century. The views from around the church down to the beaches below are outstanding. On Sunday the bells rang out from the bell tower for a few minutes. We were hoping to catch mass in the church, however we had not got our times correct unfortunately.

A igreja ( penso que será uma capela) fica situada junto ao mar em Seiano, um local pitoresco, mas muito tranquilo, com uma vista magnífica para o mediterrâneo e a costa de Nápoles onde se deslumbra o Vesuvio.
