wonderful tour of champagne region

We did a family champagne tour with C La Vigne in March and had an amazing time. Peggy was very prompt when responding and very informative when suggesting places to visit. Our tour guide Fred was very knowledgeable and friendly. He made us feel very comfortable and welcomed. He even made sure my vegetarian parents were well taken care of. Highly recommend this company for tours.

My friends came over to visit me and we've decided to visit Champagne region. It was absolutely a good choice!
We had a very good time with our guide, Fred. We enjoyed to learn about the history of the region and everything about Champagne.
We like the Champagne houses selected by the company. We visited one small family owned Champagne house and Veuve Clicquot and did a tasting in a very cozy Champagne bar. Our highlight of the day was the visit at the family owned Champagne house. The visit was very intimate and the wine maker took time to answer to all our questions! I would also like to thank Peggy for her quick response to all our request and she planned our tour by taken into account our interest and preferences. I definitely recommend C La Vigne to those who want to have a more personalised one day trip to Champagne region

Great Day Trip

Finely tailored visit to 3 producers. Peggy was extremely prompt on all communications and recommendations. Carlos was a great guide. Giving insight and altering plans to fit changing needs. This is the best private Champagne tour I have utilized while staying in Paris.

The perfect trip-

My wife, son and I booked a private tour of the Champagne Region and everything was perfectly planned and executed. Peggy was quick to communicate with us and arranged every detail we requested, she is the Rock Star of Champagne Tours! Our guide Frederick was professional, polite and educated. He promptly pick us up and just one block away from our apartment in Paris he started pointing out historical site as we drove towards the freeway. Historical sites that only someone who really knows would be able to point out. He continued his knowledge sharing throughout the entire trip and he made us feel comfortable throughout the entire journey. The trip itself was perfect, we chose to visit Notre-Dame de Reims, the House of Taittinger, lunch at Brasserie Le Jardin (located in Domaine Les Crayère), and we also visited two local production vineyards. The cathedral was beautiful of course; Taittinger was very historical, grand and beautiful. If you appreciate the art and craftsmanship of making Champagne then visiting the smaller houses is a must. This option provides you a one on one tour given by the vigneron. The vigneron personally walks you, just you...throughout his entire artisanal process from growth, harvest, pressing, fermenting, racking and bottling and of course tasting. This was a very personal and exceptional visit, we will be back and we will only book with Peggy @ C La Vigne.

Peggy was great to work with when creating our own itinerary and wine tour. She was knowledgeable, responsive, and very organized. Their service from my initial outreach stood out compared to the other companies I was getting quotes from. I contacted over 10 different wine tour companies.

Amazing Champagne Tour!

My husband and I went to France for our honeymoon. We're both winos, so naturally, we thought a champagne tour would be a good excursion. We were so right! We decided to go with C La Vigne because of the great reviews, good price, and transportation. Peggy picked us up exactly when she said that she would, talked about the city of Paris as we drove to pick up other clients, and then she transported us to the first stop. She was very knowledgeable, has a very good relationship with the champagne producers, provided recommendations at our lunch stop, and was cheerful the entire trip. Overall, our experience was EXCELLENT, and we highly recommend Peggy.

We visited from Australia for my husbands birthday and Peggy was amazing, her knowledge and lovely presence made our experience unforgettable. Such an authentic, fun experience including champagne sabering, traditional French cuisine & amazing champagne tastings & tour of the champagne regions was one of the best experiences we’ve had! Definitely recommend to all - especially if you love champagne! Thanks so much xoxo

We had a wonderful trip on a tour of some lovely Champagne Houses. This was by far the best tour I have ever taken and I fully encourage anyone to take this trip.

We loved our day trip to champagne! Peggy was knowledgeable, friendly, and put together a great agenda. This was a great way to see more of the country and get a taste of the culture while keeping Paris as a home base.
