We booked this tour, but did NOT get to take it due to the weather - although the harbor of La Ciotat was serene, the seas were very rough further out.
So why am I writing a review? Because I was impressed with this organization. They took us out in the boat, let us see how rough it was, and let US decide if we wanted to proceed or not. We decided against going out that day, and they promptly refunded our deposit. Could not ask for better, more considerate customer service.

TLDR; We thoroughly enjoyed the private tour with Mae. She was absolutely delightful and showed us all the best of the Calanques.
My wife and I went to Cassis to see that Calanques and thought seeing many of them from the sea would be better than seeing just one from the beach - I think we could not have made a better choice.
I called the office to make a private tour booking the day of the trip and was pleased that they could accommodate us. The booking transaction was done online and I had my tickets in my email within 10 minutes of calling and choosing a time and location of pickup.
We were pleased to see our skipper Mae show up 15 minutes early. She was very friendly and energetic from the start to end. She explained in English what the we would see on the tour and also explained due to the windy conditions that the sea would be rough. She masterfully guided the boat through the swells and I was happy that neither my wife nor I had any sense of motion sickness.
We visiting 4 or 5 Calanques (I lost count) over the 3 hour tour. Some of them were very deep in terms of being nestled in between the limestone cliffs and some where not as pronounced however we able to get up close and with many features.
My favorite was the “Eye of the Needle” (Le chas de l'aiguille) (I hope that is right). Perhaps my favorite was jumping off the boat and swimming into a cave. At first it seemed the opening was small and the cave was very dark but as we swam closer, I realized that I was wrong on both accounts (important life lesson). My wife and I explored the cave for a bit and enjoyed the beautiful light that reflected off the sand.
We returned to the boat to rinse off and made our way back to the harbor while sipping on rose.
I highly recommend this experience over a larger boat with less personal service and highly recommend Mae as a Skipper.

Wonderful boat cruise with our family and friends. It was a highlight of our trip! Our skipper, May (sp?), did a fantastic job as our captain effortlessly navigating us through different points of interest in the national park and finding us two swimming spots. She made us feel very comfortable which was especially important as we had our 3 year old daughter. She provided much interesting information and took photos of our group in the water. The area is so incredibly beautiful and we were fortunate to enjoy it on such a wonderful boat! The tour company went above and beyond for our group. Highly recommend this!

I would also like to emphasize the seriousness of Eden Boat because we went out despite the bad weather. The release was therefore cut short. And Eden Boat billed us for time spent, which is very rare these days!

What better way to visit La Ciotat and its surroundings than a boat day in the Calanques? Elodie our captain was remarkable in every way. Always caring, she also knew how to give us all the privacy necessary to enjoy these breathtaking landscapes. Thank you again Elodie for this timeless day that we will not forget!!

Memories of a lifetime made on our private boat tour of the Calanques with Roman, our captain. Visited 7-8 calanques - visited a submerged cave, snorkeled several calanques and found an octopus. Last calanque visit to "naturaliste"/nudist beach visited by 2 on foot.

Hello,
My wife and I would like to take the same boat trip you did. We are going mid-June of this year. Did you book in far in advance or when you arrived in France? Trying to decide if we can wait to see how the weather will be or if this is something that needs to be booked way in advance.
