This place is almost at Pakistan border and reaching this place will be tricky . I travelled by bus from Amritsar to Ferozpur and the duration is around 2-3 hours costing 150 INR and pick up an auto which will take you to the border.
It is advisable to travel by train after watching parade since it will be late evening and buses aren't available after 8 PM
The patriotic memorial speaks volumes about the sacrifice made by Bhagat Singh,Rajguru,Sukhdev along with Indian Army in Indo-Pak war
Though the memorial is well maintained the park adjacent to the memorial needs lot of care and attention.
The monuments and the inscriptions speaks volume and tells us lot of stories in silence
The border parade is unique of it's kind since this is the only place where the soldiers will cross the Zero line during parade.
This place has a canteen, museum and memorabilia shop. This place isn't as crowded as Wagah but the parade is a treat for the eyes.

This memorial is build in memory of the Indian freedom fighters Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev Thapar and Shivaram Rajguru. Good place for visit.

This place is very close to Pakistan border. It reminds the martyrdom of the Freedom battle Heroes Bhagat Singh, Sukhwal and Rajpuru. Worth seeing.

Every time you visit here, you'll find adrenaline gushing in your blood. It reminds you of all the sacrifice which martyrs have done to gift us life, which we are enjoying today. Must go place !!!

Visited this place long time ago. this place is having a old railway line which has been abandoned long time ago after partition. There is this martyrs Memorial just on the international border. this memorial is a historical place to visit. never miss to see evening retreat ceremony at hussianwala border.

This place is good. Should have been maintained more better way. Infact, rail station and old rail connection to Pakistan should be presented in more better fashion.

This is a place about 11 km from Ferozepur city. Once you start driving from the city towards Hussainwala Indo-Pak border, you cross the river Sutlej over a hybrid bridge (wood+cement).. Just after it a slip road towards your right takes to this less known, more important historical site
The memorial is constructed on the banks of river Sutlej for the young Indian revolutionaries Bhagat Singh, SukhDev, Rajguru and BK Dutt.. Out of which the first three were hanged In Lahore jail for the Lahore conspiracy case on 23 March 1931 and their bodies were burnt and thrown to the river by the British authorities in this Hussainwala village fearing their popularity during the Freedom struggle of India.. BK Dutt died in 1960s and his wish was to bury his remains at this site.
There are remains of the Indo-Pak railway connection, a war memorial for the martyrs of 1971 Indo-Pak war, a memorial for "Punjab Mata " ( Vidhyavathi- Bhagat Singh s mother), an Amarjyothi, statue of the three heroes and a park Ayyangar to it..
Hussainwala Indo-Pak border where the ceremonial evening parade takes place is walkable distance from here.

I had not heard of Hussainiwala border near Ferozepur till my recent visit, as compared to the much more famous Wagah border near Amritsar. I was informed that a similar parade ceremony takes place here and one gets a better view, so we decided to come here instead and boy, was it worth it!
One should plan to get here by around 4 pm. The National Martyrs Memorial is right next door to the border parade and is a must-see. This is the place, where the samadhi of freedom fighters Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev, Rajguru and Batukeshwar Dutt are located. Next to it are the remnants of a tower, which has come under heavy shelling from the other side of the border during the many wars and skirmishes between these countries.
The show itself begins at 5 pm in winter and 5:30 pm in summer and is for half an hour. The amphitheatre is opened for entry around 15 minutes prior to the show. One gets a clear view of both sides, India and Pakistan and the armed forces of both countries carrying out the ritual. One can pose for pics with the security personnel after the show. Also, do not miss the Sher e Hind gate next to the border. A great experience and time very well spent. Entry is free, though there are parking charges at the memorial.

Memorial of Martyrs Bhagat Singh, Rajguru, Sukhdev. This is a border area of India Pakistan. They were cremated here on the bank of Satluj river in Hussainiwala. British did not want to give an honorable farewell to these popular Revolutionary leaders of India and they killed them brutally, then cut into pieces and set to fire with kerosene oil. This place is known for Tomb of Bhagat Singh, Rajguru, Sukhdev, BK Dutt and mother of Bhagat Singh Srimati Vidyawati Devi. There is a conspiracy theory as well on their death which is related to operation trojan horse.

What will be the approximate fare for full cab from Amritsar to Husainiwala ?

You can travel by train or bus which will be cost-effective and the frequency is limited.
Cab charges will be high since you will have to pay for to and fro ( around 150+ KMs ). I assume it will be upwards of 3000 though I haven't travelled by cab

it will be too late. bette stay in ferozepur and go early morning. amritsar is hardly 3 hrs
