We purchased tickets for an English guided tour. The three of us were given a printed document with the guide's commentary. The guide couldn't speak English, a fellow visitor helped us with a few words.
I suggest taking a photo of the description, so you can read it in the dark. Take the yellow hardhat, only the group's last member can take the red one.

Best Mine Trip Ever - it's a UNESCO site for a good reason!
HUGE shout out to our guide - Mr. Michał Mnich who was very dedicated, full of knowledge, and he spoke good English - so that my foreign friends were truly able to understand and enjoy everything <3
Im from the Silesia region myself, so I've seen most of the historical mines that we have here and let me tell you this: Silver Mine in Tarnowskie Góry is an extraordinary place run by people with passion and If u have some time to see just one of our historic mines I strongly recommend to check this one! I've recently done an English tour there with my friends form the UK - they were delighted and the entire experience was awesome. Everyone from the staff were really helpful - I've called them a day before we went there asking for an English tour and there was no problem with arranging one.

This was a fascinating experience. Many thanks to Teresa our guide who seeks good English and shared a lot of knowledge. This UNESCO site is very wort to visit. The mine is not just about the silver, lead and zinc, but it is also about the water management system used and how this evolved. Thanks again to all the people involved.

warto zobaczyć. 1,5 godz. zwiedzania. Można się dużo dowiedzieć o pracy górników w tamtych czasach. Trzeba założyć kaski przy wejściu, bo korytarze są niskie, i nieraz uderza się głową , ale w kasku to jest niegroźne. Nie polecam dla dzieci z dużym poziomem lęku- ciasne korytarze, konieczność schylania się , zjechania i wjechania windą, przejazd kołyszącą łódką. Brak sensownej restauracji w budynku na powierzchni. W tej co jest, wybór jest bardzo skromny- tylko hotdogi

Miejsce z historią świetnie opowiadana przez przewodnika. Zwiedzanie i atrakcje ułożone w bardzo przemyślany sposób. Cześć zwiedzania na ziemi a cześć pod ziemią 😀 gorąco polecam.

My husband and I visited this UNESCO site on our trip to Poland during our stay in Tarnowskie Gory. This Lead-Silver-Zinc Mine and its Underground Water Management System was inscribed to the World Heritage List in 2017.
We didn't know what to expect as we've never visited a mine before. The tours are in groups, ours was a group of at least 20, maybe more. The tour lasted 90 min. I believe.
Our tour guide spoke English and in addition we were given plenty of literature in English to fully understand what we were seeing. We all had to wear long raincoats and hard hats.
The Tour started in the museum where we learned the history of the mine and the area. Then we took the elevator to go underground to visit the corridors from the 18th and 19th centuries. The tour covered over a mile of the corridors. We crossed part of the route in boats as it was through a flooded corridor. We toured adits, shafts, galleries and other features of the water management system.
The images we experienced from the extensive labyrinth of corridors was priceless. This was such a unique visit we thoroughly enjoyed... we highly recommend!

Bardzo ciekawe miejsce. Atrakcyjne zarówno dla dzieci jak i dorosłych. Świetny przewodnik. Ładne pamiątki w sklepiku. W barze nie ma nic dobrego...tylko dla bardzo wygłodniałych i niewybrednych.

Our tour was booked in English, a week in advance for two people, and our guide was very clear and with plenty of knowledge of the mine. Shout-out to Teresa who also gave us a lift to the city center!
The mine is interesting and attractive to go visit.
Do not go expecting a natural cave with impressive natural features and you won't be disapointed.

Bardzo udana wycieczka, przewodnik bardzo ciekawie opowiada. Prezentacja w muzeum w stylu nowoczesnym, pod ziemią równie ciekawie. Ponad półtorej godziny pełnych atrakcji. Naprawdę warto.
