Leider hatten wir Regenwetter. Wir fanden es Toll das es uns möglich war für 3 Stunden das Gelände zu verlassen um uns mit der Familie im Trockenen zu Treffen. Und dann unseren Besuch fortzusetzen. Der Japanische Garten ist zur Azaleenblüte ein besonderer Ort.

Tolle Gartenschau rund um das Schloss Ludwigsburg. Liegt zentral mitten in der Stadt. Gut mit ÖPNV zu erreichen. Der Märchengarten für Kinder , aber auch für Erwachsene ist legendär.
Gute übersichtliche und informative Homepage für die Vorbereitung. Viel Wissenswertes, auch über die Geschichte der Gärten und die Entstehung des Blühenden Barocks.
Online-Kartenkauf funktioniert problemlos und ist einfach.

The park of the castle is a great experience for adults and children on sunny days. It's quite large, so bring comfortable shoes. The park features several areas including baroque gardening, a japanese garden and most important to children a fairy tale garden. The fairy tale garden has some interactive devices for small children. It's German only, but children might still have fun.
You can buy moderately priced, medium quality food on site. There are also places, where you can picnic.
Be aware, the residence and the park are separate tickets, while you can access the park freely, the residence is only accessible through guided tours. However, such tours are not really fun for children.

wenn man schon in Ludwigsburg ist. Unbedingt auch die wunderbare Lindenallee entlanglaufen, die sich an das Schloss anschließt. Man fühlt sich wie Sissi und Franz in Österreich.

Una maravilla. Los jardines son espectaculares. Un acierto total. Además, de forma totalmente inesperada, nos encontramos con una especie de performance especial tematizada por Halloween. Toda la parte trasera de los jardines estaba increíblemente decorada y ambientada por Halloween: música, máquinas de humo, luces, calabazas por todos sitios, staff disfrazado, túneles, decoración, etc. Una auténtica pasada. Id en esas fechas si podéis.

Bei dem Besuch der Ausstellung haben wir festgestellt, dass sich die Parkverwaltung sehr viel Mühe gegen hat. Leider war das Wetter nicht besonders und die Adraktionen kamen nicht richtig zur Geltung. Einen Besuch wert

Hi,
It is a beautiful castle park around the castle. Great flower beds and rose bushes invite you to linger. The locks are also interesting for children. There is also a fairy tale park. Many of the fairy tale figures speak and move. A whole day is planned for the park and the castle. The castle itself, also the buildings can be visited (guided tours in many languages). Very interesting is the Porcelan manufactory.
