A perfect day enhanced even further our experience of the gorgeous Lake.

On and off the water were both lovely. We enjoyed a relaxing stroll along the grand promenade. Another highlight was a ferry trip to and from Mainau.

Very bad place

Never that dead hole again. The Swiss are falling over the city like rats. And the stupidly stupid German puts up with everything. Pay them back the VAT nicely and accept that as soon as we are a few meters in Switzerland we have to pay tolls. Furthermore, the people in Konstanz and the surrounding area are unfriendly and definitely not lovable. Consistency in itself offers nothing at all. Lustlos. Boring. Tot.

So many other places on Lake Constance are more beautiful

I was quite disappointed and will not go there again. For me, the city center was very loveless . Artificial flowers hang everywhere and how to come up with such an idea in 2024 only makes me wonder. Real flowers are not to be found in downtown just everywhere the plastic balls, worn and ugly.
Super many tourists ... No, not pretty at all

Beautiful nature and cultural tour on Lake Constance

Lake Constance is beautiful, bathing three states: Germany (I've seen Constance, Friedrichshafen, Meersburg), Austria (I've seen Bregenz) and Switzerland (I've visited St. Gallen and Schaffhausen), it's fed by the Rhine river, it encloses several islands, I've seen the Germans Mainau and Lindau. The most beautiful and suggestive part is where the Rhine river exits into the spectacular waterfall near Schaffhausen. Unforgettable the thrill of sailing under the waterfall. Very exciting holiday.

Lake Constance is very beautiful.
The interesting thing is that four nations overlook its waters: Germany, Switzerland, Austria and Liechtenstein.
It is worth taking a walk along the lakeside to appreciate the beauty and, if you are lucky like us, even see an airship flying.

Lazy ferry trip on the lake

Took the car ferry from Meersburg across the lake and that alone was a fun experience. Mare sure you spend time in the old town of Meersburg it so charming.

De Bodensee is een van de mooiste meren van de wereld. Dit komt vooral door de bergen die alomtegenwoordig zijn, de groene omgeving en de mooie stadjes en dorpjes die de overs rijk zijn.
Door het meermaals langs de oevers te hebben gereisd hebben we in Konstanz eindelijk eens onze reisbestemming gemaakt.
Magnifieke omgeving.
