Mooie kabelbaan die geweldig uitzicht geeft over het dal en slot Neuschwanstein.
Boven zijn verschillende wandelroutes te volgen en er is een restaurant met een panoramaterras.

Excellent fun and affordable activity for the kids. After using the tobogan enjoy some ice cream, play on the playground, and watch the paragliders. We also did the gondola which was fantastic but crowded they really pack you in like sardines!

We arrived in the morning to have a trip with the cable car to the top.
Because it was early, at 9 am, the snow at the top was newly fallen and the view was astonishing.

Die Bergbahn ist sauber und scheint auch gut gewartet zu werden. Das Personal von der Tegelbergbahn ist sehr hilfsbereit,auch wenn man als Seniorin nicht ganz so schnell ist.

Nach einer anstrengenden Wanderung von der Talstationen zum Gipfel wollten wir (4 Personen) mit der Seilbahn runterfahren. Dass man hierzu wegen Corona eine Maske braucht dachten wir nicht. Der Mitarbeiter der Gondel hat uns dann aus dem Mitarbeiterpool Masken gegeben. Bezahlen durften wir das nicht, das sei Service! Vielen lieben Dank hierfür! Das hat einen tollen Bergtag noch gekrönt.
Und nochwas: Bergbahn fahren ist immer teurer als laufen!

The cable car has great views of Neuschwanstein and the valley below. It was fun to watch the paragliders and sit at the cafe up top. The valley stretches out and it seems if you can see for 100 miles. We also did the alpine coaster which was fun (particularly for the cost).

Hello,
My daughter and I will be visiting in May 2024. We are staying overnight in Fussen, and seeing the castles in the morning. That afternoon we would like to see the Tegelbergbahn, but we do not have a car. Is there a bus that runs from the Kings Castles to the Tegelbergbahn? I tried to read the bus schedule online but was unable to figure it out. Thanks for your help!

Hola. Voy desde Ulm a ver el castillo del Rey Loco. Por desgracia, no tenemos entradas ya. Pero lo veremos por fuera. Acabo de ver eso del Tegelbergbahn, y me pregunto si vale la pena quedarse por los alrededores del castillo y subir en el telesférico, y tal vez hacer esta atracción. Vamos con dos niños.
Otra opción era irnos a Munich, pero creo que no les divertirá tanto.
¿Qué me recomiendan?

hello. I will visit next july with my family. I want to know if is possible to have lunch in the valley station, next to the toboggan, if there is a kiosk, where we can eat sousage, añplestrudel in a simple way. Thank you very much.

My family and I will be visiting this area in early April. Is the alpine slide is open year round? If not, does anyone know what date it opens for the season? It's hard to find dates on the website and I know my kids would love it!

I visited March 30th in 2017, so I would think that Iit should be open in April this year. Can't confirm though.

We would like to ride the Tegelberg Luge while we are in the area visiting the King's Castles. I am a little confused on how we get to the top to ride the luge. Do we have to take the gondola up to ride the luge back down? In other words, do we pay for the gondola ride as well as the luge ride?

Hi.....as someone already mentioned the gondola and the luge are separate activities so you can either choose to pay for and ride one, or the other, or both of these activities......but having said that, when we were there in June of 2017, you buy your tickets for both of these attractions in the gondola building, at the same ticket window.

Hi. I am planning to visit both the Neuschwanstein Castle and Tegelberg Summer Luge on the same day ( 25 Sep 2017). I will be traveling from Munich to Fussen and then to the castle. Is it better to visit the Tegelberg Summer Luge first or the castle? Thanks!

By summer luge you mean the house at the end of the Tegelberg bahn? The castle is insanely crowded at midday, perhaps not as crowded as when we were there in July, but still, so I would get up early an check out the castle including the Marienbrucke. The photo angle from the bridge is fantastic! Then go to the tegelbergbahn and have lunch and apfelstudel at the restaurant and perhaps a short hike? Dress warm! Enjoy! Jonas
