De Touristen Information is gehuisvest in het oude raadhuis in het centrum van de stad. Ze beschikken over veel informatie en documentatie over activiteiten in en om Boppard. Erg vriendelijk maar vooral ook zeer behulpzaam. Een prettige ervaring.

We were visiting Boppard on a Christmas break, After walking round the pretty town during this time if year we needed to find a coffee shop open. We were recommended the Soul Cafe , this was amazing. We sat outside with Gluwien which was superb, warm red wine ,spices & chunks of fresh orange. This warmed us up & we were so comfortable with rugs over our knees, we then had coffee & Liqueur 43. This Cafe is so worth a visit.

Wie so oft, empfiehlt es sich bei einem Tagesausflug, zunächst mal die Touristeninformation anzusteuern: hier gibt es meistens sehr gute Informationen und Stadtpläne. In Boppard war die Dame sehr hilfsbereit und konnte gute Tipps geben, was man anschauen sollte.

We took the KD line from Bingen to Boppard. The tourist office gave us a walking map to follow. It was an hour or so walk, seeing all the main attractions. We were not blown away with Boppard town, but did enjoy eating leisurely at one of the restaurants overlooking the Rhine. Very pleasant. Then took train back to Bingen around 5 pm.

ライン川沿いの町、ボッパルトは小さく纏まっているので、鉄道駅、KDラインの船着き場からは旧市街の中心がすぐで、歩くにはわかりやすいのですが、最初にこのツーリストインフォメーションで情報を得るのがいいと思います。但し、観光地の割には、季節や曜日によってクローズされていることもあります。

The staff at the Tourist Information in Bappard are very friendly. They recommended a short historic tour around the Roman town and provided guide maps with relevant information about certain points en route. This proved most interesting and allowed us to get an overview and feel for the town. The guide can be obtained in different languages."A journey back in time" can be highly recommended before delving into visiting the other mjor sites in detail.
