This place is a gem in Cochem, and it felt like stepping into a peaceful oasis away from the city filled with tourist traps. On a beautiful summer evening, like the ones we had during our visits, the garden is filled with guests sitting around on the lawns and under the trees, which are lit up with string lights after dark. It’s just so cozy and pleasant to be here! The atmosphere is relaxed, and you really enjoy yourself. The selection of wine is good, even though they "only" sell their own wine. You can also buy small food platters, but it would be nice if they served dinner so you could stay longer. The only downside is that the place closes early, which is a shame when you’d love to sit there all night.

Superb tasting. Luckily, the person who explained the tasting, who unfortunately do not remember his name, speaks perfect Spanish, with which there was a lot of dialogue.
I was even surprised by the prices of the wines, I expected them much more expensive.

Super fun and cozy. We receive a very friendly and detailed explanation about the wines and the different grape varieties. We opted for the Dutch tasting and it was really excellent. We were even able to taste 16 wines per couple. We enjoyed more than 2 hours. Well worth the money!

Fantastic location to enjoy a nice glass of wine. From the garden you have a beautiful view over the Moselle and the city of Cochem.
We did a wine tasting here the next day (Wein Pur). We tasted a total of 16 different wines. The explanation during the tasting was in Dutch.
Conclusion: Drinking a glass of wine in the garden and participating in the tasting are highly recommended!

The wonderful garden with a view of the Moselle and the bridge invites you to linger. Here you can relax wonderfully in good weather and with good wine (we had the dry Riesling from the steep slope and the dry Elbling) at fair prices. There are also delicious little snacks and various cakes. Our favorite place in Cochem.

We just enjoyed the wine tasting here in the house.
17.50 € per person for 8 wines presented.
Is it worth it?
Definitely.
The wines are explained really well, the differences are shown wonderfully. And you really get 8 great wines presented.
If you split up into pairs, you can even try 16 different wines.

Based on the positive reviews, we also made a reservation at this winery for a wine tasting. However, we are less positive. Upon arrival they could not find our reservation, which was no problem according to the gentleman behind the reception. Unfortunately, the person who was going to give the tasting thought differently, he snapped at his colleague that he had already prepared everything and if we had to join in, we would have to sit at the last table. He also let us know that it was a German tasting, not the English or Dutch version, and that he did not intend to speak differently. The tasting itself was interesting, but we had the feeling of being back in school, we found the pedantic tone and the way of asking questions annoying. As everyone knows, there is no accounting for taste, so why be laughed at if you like a certain wine that the man in question thinks tastes like "cat piss"?! In any case, we were not very impressed with the wines they offered to taste. No more Hieronimi for us. Fortunately, there are many more wineries in Cochem.

Not for disabled people. High stairs, no elevator. High step to the wine cellar. Very detailed explanation about the different wines, the man really knows it. Lots of sweet wines for the ladies, you have to like that

We enjoyed an interesting wine-tasting and then snacks on the lawn at this hidden gem in Cochem. The location is beautiful and a welcome and relaxing break from the very touristing spots on the other side of the bridge.

Beautiful, secluded garden with various seating areas. You can enjoy your wine there. The garden is self-service, which didn't bother us at all. The interior is also very attractive and comfortably furnished. Good selection of different wines. Not your usual tourist place. We liked it a lot and would love to come back.
