We enjoyed our visit to Leukerbad Therme and found it to be in a convenient spot to break up our drive between Geneva and Zermatt. We stopped here for three hours to soak in the many pools they have to offer. They also have areas that are family friendly and some fun waterslides that older kids would enjoy. We appreciated the variety of available seating here.
The cost to enter is 30 CHF for adults and includes access to all areas of the complex. Once you enter you are provided with a wristband and there are multiple change room areas that are mixed gender but there are private stalls to change in. There are additional experiences to be had here like restaurants, relaxation activities and a bar in the main pool area. If you want to try these items you can use your wristband to pay and then clear your bill at the settlement machine before exiting. The wristband will let you use any available locker by pushing it against it to lock and unlock. We would recommend bringing your own towel here but there was signage not allowing sandals in many of the areas.
We enjoyed our late afternoon visit because we got to watch the sunset over the valley below and they turned on some nice lights in the outdoor pools. The main outdoor pool also has a fire show every 30 minutes or show which was fun to see.
We found the three hour pass to be plenty of time but you can buy day passes or multi-entry passes as well. They have a restaurant and snack bar near the front desk and the parkade on site was reasonably priced. There are quite a few parkades and good restaurants in Leukerbad and it would be worth spending a night or two in the area if you have the time.

All I can say is that they have the most beautiful town of anywhere I’ve seen, was stationed overseas in military in Germany and came back to revisit Europe, but this town made my trip. The staff at the Bristol hotel was so pleasant n the gentleman at desk Uber helpful and considerate. When we arrived at the public therme Sun was just down over their majestic mountain around 3 so be aware of this if want sun… but when it got dark that’s when the magic really started. It has a swim up bar with the most friendly bar tenders. When you go to the outside one their is this strange icon that looks like a metal pinecone but wait for it… then the sorcery vegans with a light show and a fountain that has fire at the top of the water!!! How, please if someone knows post it. I’m logical n scientific but this made No sense to me n added to this illusion that I was in mideviel time where Merlin is back in the shadowy corner of the pool amusing himself at our expense. I would like to believe this, n so hard to explain so please i seriously know of no way they made it happen( phones are highly discouraged) there was no tube cylinder that could pipe propane to the top of the fountain so please if anyone knows please respond to this, but it added 110% to the Roman ambience n hope it takes you away too. Would highly recommend this place to all who need introspection and a deep commune under the stars, mountains thermen water enveloping you in a warm hug of hot H2O… bon suerte…

Beautiful view
But the baths are expensive and the infrastructures are aging limit rundown ...very disappointing old sauna and tiny room really inhosputamière and rundown.otherwise you have to pay more to access the spa area

Markings / indications unclear, difficult orientation, changing rooms (series of 800) without separation of traffic between those entering with their shoes in the changing rooms and those going barefoot to the baths (and vice versa), no pediluve, lockers for undersized clothes... very disappointing!

Over the years it has become more like a public swimming pool than a thermal pool, with screaming kids diving in from everywhere.
Icing on the cake entry into the water allowed to fully clothed people.

We stayed in Leukerbad for 2 nights during a two week hiking trip. One afternoon we decided to visit this bath. Having been in Iceland, we expected a similar unique and fun experience.
However, from the moment we arrived and gave the gentleman our passed that we purchased from our hotel, we were greeted rudely with great indifference. It's a big property with 10 pools, locker rooms, restaurant, etc. We asked where we should go and in he quickly rattled off a serious of instructions so fast we couldn't follow what he was telling us.
We managed to find our way to big outdoor pools. The vibe was really weird, unwelcoming. The patrons were staring at us like we had two heads and the staff was rather brusque. The map and signs were very hard to follow - - we actually spent 10 minutes trying to exit. We even had one dude say when we asked how to get out ..."not my problem".... really.
Yes there are lots of pools with bubbles, massaging jets, waterfalls.... but I wouldn't waste your money. Try the Walliser Therme instead.

Grandiose scenery, warm water, pure relaxation. The Leukerbad Therme is different from most wellness temples. The theme here is the backdrop and warm water as well as relaxation. I am sure there is still room for expansion. The new bar in the water is great. In Leukerbad the program is: In the morning/day active in the mountains or on the slopes and in the afternoon until evening in the Leukerbad Therme. Then have a nice dinner or go home.

Too crowded - far too many people - it was a horror, we left after 30 minutes.
Lots of people were in the water with their cell phones despite the ban/taking photos.

A very warm pool in a very relaxing cave.
A large indoor swimming pool.
Not against a lot of people for small pools, a lot of children jumping everywhere even though they have dedicated pools. There is no question of relaxation in these conditions, you have to take it like a swimming pool with heated pools and a beautiful view.
In addition, many people squat in the jets and whirlpool baths without any civility, we are far from the German thermal baths for that.

Nous regrettons sincèrement que votre expérience ait été ternie par les termes bondés.
Étant donné que le week-end dernier était un week-end prolongé dû au jour férié, il y avait en effet un peu plus de monde que d'habitude.

In Svizzera nulla è gratis... Se paghi con carta o bancomat internazionale ci pensano loro a fare addebito. Puoi scegliere se farlo in euro o franchi svizzeri.
