A wonderful mix of interesting things on display - I bought soap, fudge and a most beautiful little hand knitted baby vest in pure NZ wool as well as a hand knitted little hat.Also some lovely hand made jewelry on display as well as magnificent hand crafted knives made by the owner's husband. Prices are reasonable. Well worth a visit.

Just as I remember village shops to be. Full of interesting and odd things. After visiting Peter Lorimer's workshop we were able to purchase a beautiful hand made knife form here. Worth a visit.

I love this shop. It has everything that makes purchasing a pleasure. Stephanie has quality goods, well priced and things you just don't see elsewhere.

Top of the list for me is the hand made knives made by husband, Peter. I have just taken possession of one and it is not only beautiful to look at, it is an absolute joy to hold and use.

Don't leave the shop without buying some ''Thunderpants." Knickers and Knives under one roof.
Perfect!!!!

So worth a visit...a country general store with glorious range of beautiful stuff! Omakau and Ophir just across the river are great destinations for a day trip or overnight too.
