Quite a nice place to visit with a pretty garden surrounding a pond . There is a nice little gift shop and there is a cafe. We didnt eat at the cafe though it was busy which is always a good reflection

A nice venue with a lovely garden area surrounding a large pond: flors and birdlife aplenty.
It is a popular stop and the cafe is very busy with a high throughput of diners: they have a good, short menu with daily specials: went for an all-day breakfast with a gluten free bread option and it came as a very generous serving.
Could not resist the raspberry ice cream for afters.

More a comment on the raspberry jam than the place because that was all we came away with. We expected to be purchasing the very best jam but are very disappointed with the gelatinous texture. Yes, it tastes like raspberry, but it’s flavour doesn’t wow and it isn’t “jammy” like expected. Will go back to buying the raspberry jam from Harris Farm for half the price.

Yum yum yum! Popped in briefly towards closing time for a little treat and service was extremely quick and friendly and the deserts we selected were excellent. Gorgeous little gift shop also and views. Would have liked to purchase fresh raspberries to take home however only frozen ones available.
Hopefully can return again to try some other yummy menu items

Went for the scones, apart from being cold inside the restaurant the ‘fresh’ scones were cold and doughy . They had obviously been frozen and quickly microwaved. Menu gave an option of toppings- I didn’t get choice. The hash browns had obviously been also reheated.
I guess if your after a large meal, it’s the place to be.

Flew in to Launceston, and ready for a coffee about now. Nice coffee and cheesecake, and loved all the products in the little shop. A worthwhile stop- of course would be much better in berry season

Arrived on Spirit of Tasmania at
Devonport and made a beeline to here for breaky.
The staff were great and breaky was fabulous, I chose the French Toast I was in heaven. Sitting by the fire with breaky and coffee.
Grabbed some Jams to bring back for myself and a work colleague (both love Raspberries). Only 1/2 of my jar made it back home 😜

Stopped by a couple of times this trip for our usual scones, as always tasty served with top quality jam and cream. Tried the spider and was introduced to the wonderful raspberry ice cream, so we had a cone of that to finish off - heavenly! Served quickly and with a smile as always. Thanks Christmas Hills!

Dropped in here on a hot day for a respite and a drink. Choices were good but service wasn’t great. It was very busy so I’m sure that had a lot to do with it. The eating area put the back was lovely which had a nice outlook. Quite a few raspberry products to choose from too. Bathrooms are a bit grubby but probably due to the high use on a busy day

My husband and I were very excited to come back to one of our favourite places to dine when we were children. To our disappointment, we had to wait over 25 minutes for someone to even acknowledge us and to take our order. We were very disappointed in the quality of the food for the price we paid. Has ruined our expectations as they used to have fabulous food. Also chocolate coated raspberries are extremely over priced for the quantity. Won’t be returning.
