C'est moderne et très propre malheureusement peu fréquenté, c'est bien dommage pour qui veut connaître le Costa-Rica. C'est très intéressant et surprenant. La visite prend 2h environ. Nous avons poursuivi la visite de FINCA 6 par le village Brunca et le monument national Guayapo.

We spent 3 and a half hours here and enjoyed every minute. The museum is delightful and clean. The information about the local indigenous people and their life is interesting. THe interpretive trails and explanation of where the Spheres came from were fascinating. One of the many interpretive posters remarked that contemporary people often underestimate the technology and resourcefulness of people in the past. How they fashioned these stone spheres, where the materials came from, how they were transported and their cultural significance is astonishing. Definitely recommend it, it is worth every bit of the admission fee. (Would cost much more elsewhere) Wish they had a gift shop with the videos for sale.

Finca 6 is an easy stop when traveling by rental car to Sierpe to access the Osa Pennisula. The museum is informative and pristinely maintained. I knew only that the stone spheres existed. The museum explains why they were made and how. They are impressive. The entire site can be seen in 2-3 hours. Very deserving of a stop.

I took my family here twice (two years in a row); it is such a magical place. The museum is clean and well maintained. The site itself is amazing! We even got to see some of the archeologists at work. The entire experience, including the surrounding beauty of the mountains, banana trees and the community made it that much more interesting. One thing to note: it gets very hot walking around the sites, so plan accordingly. It is certainly worth the visit!

Um eine Reihe dieser besonderen und merkwürdigen Steinkugeln haben sie ein schmuckes Museum gebaut und drei verschiedene Trails abgesteckt mit maximal 45 min Gehzeit. Leider nur Informationen in spanisch und auch am Ticketoffice. Von den Erklärungen darf man sich nicht mehr erwarten als ohnehin im Reisführer - trotzdem ein Besuch wert, mit Teenagern kurz halten

We really like to see ancient ruins and UNESCO sites. Finca 6 is definitely a bit out of the way but we stopped there on our way to the Osa Peninsula. We were not disappointed. The museum is small and very informative. Watch the video as it explains a lot about the spheres, civilization and location. After the museum you walk around the site. We were the only ones there and it was very peaceful and interesting. There are good signs showing you what you are looking at and which direction to walk. It is on a banana plantation and the cableway was also interesting.

Es un museo a cielo abierto en el que se pueden ver las esferas de piedra confeccionadas en la época precolombina por los habitantes del Valle del Diquís aprendiendo sobre el valor ceremonial, político y social de las mismas.
El sitio cuenta con instalaciones cómodas: parqueo, servicios sanitarios, una edificación con una sala para exhibiciones temporales y otra para la exhibición permanente en la cual se puede observa una maqueta del lugar.
El costo de la entrada para visitantes nacionales es de C1,500 que actualmente solo se pueden pagar con tarjeta de crédito.
Hay 3 senderos debidamente demarcados y con información adecuada y suficiente sobre los hallazgos que se encuentran en el lugar y que el visitante puede ver.
Se puede llegar al lugar en un vehículo liviano y lo recomendable es vestir con ropa fresca y calzado cómodo para realizar el recorrido por el sitio, sería bueno llevar sombrilla para protegerse del sol o protector solar.

Conocer las esferas de piedra y lo ordenado del lugar. El lugar a pesar de lo lejos tiene excelentes instalaciones, altos protocolos COVID-19, senderos bien marcados y nos brindaron muy buena información.

Its not easy getting here without a car. We do not hire cars when we travel. We had spent time in the Corcaovado park, and were travelling onto Puerto Norte for the night. So we caught a bus from Sierpe to the road leading down to the site, the driver dropped us, with our rucksacks, and it was well worth the effort. There is no cafe or facilities there at all apart from toilets. The staff do not speak English , but were very helpful. There were some explanations in English, but wiki article helps to understand it too. The civilisation was in the Diquis Delta circa 800BC to 800AD and the statues and spheres they made to show their status are on display. We had never seen peg ststues and spheres before. The site are outside and you can wander around. definitely worth a visit, pay with a card . Then we walked back to the main road and waited a long time for a bus. Would not have missed this visit.

Buenos días. Hay transporte público desde sierpe (Puerto) al museo? Después tenemos que ir a la estación de autobús. Pero no sabemos como.
No he conseguido contactar con empresa de alquiler de vehículos.
