Title says it all. What a disgrace for a town that wants to brand itself as an art town!
The shops are filled with plastic decor for that special someone who wants to reach the ultimate level of tastelessness.
Clothes are also sold if you want to wrap yourself in the decay of human life on earth.
Really did not set the mood for our trip to Mänttä.

Women seemed to browse the items on sale with reasonable enthusiasm. However these outlet shops in an old derelict mill easily make persons of the male persuasiom run screaming out, far away. I did not like this place at all.

Being an old mill environment has some culture but in the shops there were only cheap polyester clothes, fake leather bags and shoes. I was looking forward some unique design items but everything was made-in-China-style. A total disappointment.

For trip to meseums at Mänttä. Cafe Myllyranta have good lunch serving for reasonable price. Small boutiques with handgraft and outlet are for you and your money. Try that area, even landscape is worth of trying.
