Amazing experience

Wonderful day . My husband and 11yr old daughter did treetop challenge. My daughter made her dad do the most difficult route . Took them 2 and half hours and they loved every moment. From zip wires to aerial challenges . My daughter loves challenges and high ropes . In amazing visual surroundings of woodland . It took their breath away . My daughter was in her element. No fear and brave beyond words . My husband was very proud of himself and fitnesses level being in his late 50s .Benedict their instructor was fantastic. Encouraging and patient.Fabulous family adventure in the best surroundings and with skilled happy staff . The weather had all seasons going on , from fine rain , sunshine to hail stones when leaving . Definitely will do again .

Perfect for young families. Great sense of adventure and teaching responsibility you younger ones. Beautiful views.

My 12 year old and I went for the tree top challenge. I’m terrified of heights and made it through. My 12 year old loved it. Great at teaching them responsibility as they have to manage their own safety. But it’s super simple to follow the safety guides. Beautiful setting, helpful staff and they look after valuables while you do it.

3hrs flew by and it was great value for money.

Appalling customer service

This place really needs to consider that for some activities their guidance on age is inappropriate in some circumstances.
For the treetop challenge they advertise that min age is 10 what they don’t tell you is that if you book 1 adult with 2 children the activity only allows 2 at a time on the platforms and you are responsible for clipping in and out - that means I we would have to trust an 11 year old to be fully responsible for their own safety!
Upon hearing this we tried to cancel due to safety concerns but they made it so difficult and awkward to even get a voucher that to be honest we can’t use - as this activity is really the only one at their wendover centre.
Overall generally they show no willingness to understand circumstance and are as usual all about the $$$$

Great experience

My 4 and 6 year olds had a go at the Treetop Adventure with my husband and some friends and, whilst it was quite challenging for them, they had a brilliant experience and we could not fault the staff - plenty of people on hand to train, help, check safety, encourage where needed etc! All so professional, calm, friendly and helpful. They accommodated different needs and preferences (my eldest opted out of the zip wire and second loop and my youngest needed the loo before the end!), communicated with one another via walkie talkie constantly to ensure we were well supported at every step and didn't rush us towards the end despite us finishing quite late! All in all, an excellent set up and team!

Great day out. Organised and professional team and the course was super for all levels. Really enjoyed it, thank you. But the cafe was pricey.

Great location and a great challenge, especially the tarzan jump

Lovely Location for a Go Ape,
Both the treetop challenge and the treetop adventure were great for different ages.
The only negative was at the treetop challenge, they booked loads of people in for the same slot which meant the safety briefing took a very long time ( started the track close to an hour later) and then we had to wait a lot for the people in front of us to move along, the group after us only had 2 people.

Fun but wrong height

My son did the tree tops adventure, he is over 1m tall but struggled to clip himself on and off in some parts luckily there was another dad up there that helped.
It is stated over 1m and over 6 they dont need a adult, I think this is wrong, and adults should have to pay keys to go up. If it wasn't for the other dad up there he would have been stuck waiting for an instructor.

Fantastic Day and Amazing Staff

Absolutely amazing experience! the day was incredibly challenging both physically and mentally but it was entirely thrilling! I have to give a personal shoutout to both Hannah and Sam. Hannah gave our safety induction, she was enthusiastic, extremely helpful and friendly. We spoke with Sam across the different sites and every time he was talkative and encouraging to ensure we had a great time. Both Hannah and Sam really are incredible team members of the GoApe Wendover site and I could not give them any higher praise!

Fun Challenging & Good Family Bonding!

Took my 3 children ages 21, 16 & 13 to do the tree top challenge. We booked for 2pm slot and finished course 5.15pm. The first 45 minutes we had a good safety induction on how to safely use equipment and practice on a mini course under instructor supervision which was very reassuring. Once done that you were free to go off on your own. As had a child under 16 she went in front of me so we could check the belay each time we moved and that was the guidance of Go Ape. The course definitely challenged us all but definitely was great we all encouraged each other as a family. My oldest said it was nice to not have mobiles on us for a few hours! There were a few parts we thought couldn't do the tarzan swing definitely one to do but initially I thought no way! The extreme part was out of action at time we went but didn't lesson the experience. Only thing I would say was a group behind us seemed to want to rush through each part quickly so we felt under pressure at times to complete each part quickly, we could have let them go past at one point but as quite large group meant we would have to wait a while to restart. Would recommend this and we will all definitely return to do another Go Ape in the future thank-you! P.S. parking cost £10 which thought quite steep for time there.
