Built at the same time as the Cathedral (some mile away), the viaduct is very impressive, and of course gives a almost birds eye view of the city.

TRURO Viaduct is the longest viaduct in Cornwall and stretches for more than 400 metres.
It is more than eighty feet high and has sixteen arches, a construction in stone which was built in 1904.
When we visited Truro we walked up the road and the viaduct was soon looming over us.
A better view was gained by walked into a grassy site with a children's play area in it where we took several photos of the viaduct which spans Station Road.
It is an impressive structure and well worth a brief visit as part of a general day in the city.
