Fun boat trip from Falmouth to Trelissick NT.

It is fun to leave the car at the hotel on holiday and this is a great way to visit Trelissick NT from Falmouth.
The crew were friendly, and the commentary did highlight points of interest along the way. On the day of our trip forecast high winds meant that the last return trip was cancelled, but we had already intended to catch the penultimate ferry back to Falmouth so this was no problem to us. The trip back did get a bit lively once or twice, but not as bad as I expected. All in all a it was part of a good day out.

Be wary of the timetable

We are holidaying in the Trelissick area and last Wednesday we were planning to take the 13:40 ferry to Falmouth, returning at16:30. On arrival we
were told that the 16:30 had been cancelled so there would be no shore time in Falmouth. We asked if normal service would be running next day and were told yes. We returned on Thursday at 13:40 only to be told the 16:30 return from Falmouth had been cancelled again!. We explained this was the second day running the service had been cancelled and after speaking with the boat captain, he said he had been in contact with the office, and as a good will gesture they would email complementary tickets for Friday. Not surprisingly they have not.

Dog friendly boat trip

Thank you for a fab trip from Trelissick to Falmouth return during half term. Very dog friendly and friendly staff. We really enjoyed doing the woodland walk at Trelissick (and getting a lovely lunch) before getting the boat to Falmouth for a few hours and then finishing off the north woodland walk when we got back.

Nice boat, pleasant staff but sadly no commentary as advertised, made rather a lacking fun experience. More of a ferry, not a boat trip.

"Not to be missed"

Travelled from Falmouth to Trelissick on Sunday 27th September, the last day of operation for this route before the winter break. I had a problem booking tickets online a couple of days before arriving in Falmouth but this was efficiently sorted out by Claire in the booking office on the day. A fairly calm sunny day for the trip to Trelissick via St. Mawes and we were looked after by the friendly and helpful Matthew who gave us plenty of interesting information during the trip. We saw lots of cormorants perched on various floating objects, waiting for the opportunity to dive for a meal and were even lucky enough to spot a seal sunning itself on a buoy. The journey of less than an hour each way on a nice boat flew by. Thanks Claire and Matt.

From Trelissick to Falmouth

We walked on the woodland walk through to Trelissick where we got on the boat to Falmouth. A really nice 45 minute boat journey. It was fairly quiet on board and although you can sit outside, you are still required to wear a mask, which isn't a problem. It is quite bracing on the top, so on the way back we sat inside. Really enjoyed the trip and was good value for money.

Stunning round trip cruise

Amazing round trip up to telissick and back on the wonderful boat. It was clean, not crowded at all and the commentary was very informative. We even saw a little seal!
I usually get sea sick but this was super calm and I felt great the whole time.
We used the half price online offer but would've paid full price for the experience. Really lovely start to our holidays.

Thanks to the crew of the Tamar Belle for a relaxing and informative return trip from Falmouth to Trelessick. Lovely boat compared to their cheaper competitors!

The cruise was well managed and the captain was amusing and gave informative about passing scenery , the crew were friendly and helpful ,,
We have used these boats for years and have never been disappointed

Very pleasant cruise

We sailed from malpas to Falmouth on the enterprise boat. The trip is really scenic and takes in some fantastic views of the river fal. We found the commentary very informative and light hearted!

The only slight downside is that we felt it was slightly pricey! But very enjoyable!
