“Houghton Mill Camping”

ที่นี่เป็นโรงแรมที่น่ารักตั้งแคมป์ เดอะสนิทขนาดเป็นที่น่าตื่นตาตื่นใจ ที่ใหญ่ที่สุดที่เราเคยไปใน เดอะวิลเลจเป็นเพียงถนน และคุ้มค่าแก่การเข้าชม มีที่มุงจากบ้านเรือนเก่า ร้านค้าขนาดเล็กสุดขายสิ่งที่คุณอาจจะจำเป็นต้องใช้สองผับบวก สุนัขเดินที่ดี และเมื่อมันเปียกโคลนมากมายที่ไม่ใช่คน! โฮตันมิลล์เป็นหน้าประตูเล็ก ๆ ด้วยห้องชา อาคารที่น่าสนใจ และเป็นโรงงานล้อก็ทำงานวันอาทิตย์ เราจะกลับมาอีกแน่นอน

Beautiful, immaculate campsite

A beautiful location to camp. The grounds were kept immaculate by the staff. The toilet/showers were extremely clean and warm. No additional charge for the shower, plug sockets in the ladies, shaving sockets in the men’s. A dog washing facility to the rear of the toilet/shower block. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Beautiful walks on the water meadows along the Great Ouse with sightings of lots of birds and other wildlife. I cannot recommend this site highly enough. Well done Houghton Mill National Trust. We will certainly be making a return trip here. 😃

Lovely campsite - Although a little pricey compared to others locally.

We have stayed on the campsite at Houghton Mill many times over the years. This is a beautiful little site with modern clean facilities. The staff are very friendly and always keen to help. There are lovely walks around the site. You can walk all the way to St Ives using Thicket Path which is next to the site. The local village has a couple of pubs, both serving food and there is a general store which stocks pretty much everything you will need. The only downside to this site is that they have put their prices up far more than most and I fear they may have out priced themselves. There are other local campsites that offer similar facilities. It's a shame, as it really is a nice place to visit.

Always stop for coffee

Little outdoor cafe has good snacks and great coffee. Walking and visiting the Mill is always a pleasure.

Entry is expensive for very short tour. No free car parking. Machine doesn’t take cash. Guides are knowledgable, however.

A quick escape!

Lane beautiful short break only a short trip up the A1. We stayed on the campsite for a couple of nights And loved it. Lovely walks along the Ouse. Nice pubs nearby. Friendly staff and good facilities. Highly recommended

Great location for tranquility. We stayed at the Waterclose Meadows campsite adjoining this area.
Peaceful village right on the river banks. Large picnic area where all the locals gather for picnic and for the kids to swim in river. Able to launch the Kayak from here so me and the Mrs paddled down river a mile or so which was so calming. Didnt see the mill in operation as we here over the weekend but lovely village.

We stayed here over the bank holiday in our camper van. The site was lovely, spacious and family friendly. The cafe was lovely and the facilities were so clean. We had a pleasant stay. The only thing we found was an issue was between 1030-1200 the toilets were closed for cleaning with just one open, which had a shower in. Understand they need to be cleaned, but would probably be better after everyone has left at 1200, and the shower needs to be shut off, because despite the sign not to use it, clearly people still do, which created a queue!

Handy little cafe

Little cafe on National Trust site usually good service and fairly quick is very popular with visitors campers and locals. We always have the takeaway coffee and lovely chocolate brownies. Which you can take and sit in or out or around the mill area. Staff on the site friendly. Has a nice feel to the area. Added bonus boat hire near by.

Great site poor management

This was one of the most amazing locations for camping me and my family have experienced.
Right next to the river, walking distance to the pub and village shop and some fantastic walks right on your doorstep. Facilities are great all very well kept.
Unfortunately the management of the site is very poor. The way the site is run is very regimented and takes all the fun out of camping. The way they try to ask you to pitch up is very confusing and most people end up being asked to move after pitching their tent or parking the caravan. I certainly won't be returning unless a change of management takes place.
Very disappointed.
