I've had two surfing lessons with Portrush Surf school and both have been fantastic.
Class sizes were ideal for me as a beginner, advice and tips were being given all the time. The instructors were so encouraging and I honestly felt that they really wanted me to improve.
Classes were friendly and there were smiles all around
Equipment was great and the showers were roasting. I'll be back.

Fantastic from start to finish. It was the most I was able to stand up in one session with the tips and advice from the instructor. Would highly recommend. I’ll be back soon!

What can I say......I went on my own as a paddleboard virgin, never been on one before but always saw people on them and wanted to see for myself what it was like. TK the instructor was a complete star! Plenty of patience, clear instructions and great craic. He doesn't know just how much he made me feel at ease when we got into the water, and due to his great instruction, I only came off the board twice in two hours! That was my own fault, but I expected to be in the water many more times than that! Thank you Sir....I will be back again, of that there's no doubt!

Excellent experience Clare our coach was first class. Facility’s we’re great hot showers and changing rooms great at the end.

We had a great surf lesson with TK. He gave very exact instructions. For me, he was the best teacher I ever had. I already visited two surf lessons before this one. The time in the water was also quite long, which is very rare. Its the perfect place to learn surfing. It was great to have a warm shower. We could also leave our bagpacks in the Surf school.

I joined a few surf group lessons as a complete beginner and it was a wonderful experience. The time just flew by. The instructor, H., was genuine, attentive, professional yet playful, and patient (!).
The only downside was when the instructor yelled "One last wave, guys!". One. Last. Wave.
I would recommend this place and would love to go back. I wish they had camps/courses for grownups though :)

Brilliant time at Portrush Surf School, we really enjoyed our lesson and only wish we had more days to enjoy there! Thanks to TK everything went smoothly, and was good craic. Top quality wetsuits and boards. We will definitely be back!
