Following Trip Adviser visited several art installations in town . This is a nice piece of art in the car park of pub and sadly reflects its location with plastic bottles and litter thrown into the water.

Weeds and litter surround it. It's dirty and looking increasingly tired and in need of some TLC. Not so inspiring to greet you at the entrance to the family pub

Missing our junction on the A61 for the station, we cvame across the Waterwheel in Chesterfield by accident and stopped to admire.

The waterwheel is a symbol of the mills that ran along side the rivers and canals in Chesterfield and the surrounding areas. At first glance i thought it was an extension to the kids play area before realising what it is. It is situated just outside the entrance of the Lock Keepers Brewers Fayre at Tapton Lock. It looked untidy covered in rubbish and looks like it receives no care or maintenance. It would be so much better it it was a working water wheel, it would be more impressive and may be looked after if that was the case.

This could be a rather lovely water feature but when we visited the pump was not working and the water was rather green making it all look very unloved.
