Drove by to see the trees have grown and it's still not maintained any better. It's a lovely thing if you could see it properly

Hidden by Trees

I really wanted to love this artwork but sorry I couldn't. The website describes what it is well - it consists of 120 aluminium box-units, radiating out from a central concentration where they are densest and deepest. Changes in the level and direction of illumination from the sky or coloured floodlights, produces dynamic effects of light and shadow on the complex configuration, and appears to throw it into deeper relief.....

BUT - clearly it has not been properly maintained and a number of the boxes have fallen apart or fallen off the wall and those that are left are now mostly hidden by two trees that have been planted right in front of it. Who was responsible for that bit of design?
A wasted opportunity to enjoy what in my view could be a very attractive piece of artwork indeed.
