Not been in this great Pub since before the Lockdowns. A welcome return therefore with a Friend for a couple of drinks. Still that welcoming and traditional vibe to the Pub. We stumbled in there on a Quiz Night that was popular with a healthy number of people. Good range of Beers. Very friendly service and extremely reasonable prices. What is there not to like ? Looking forward to a return.

If you are looking for a glamourous Night-Out , then perhaps the Derby Tup is not for you. We have visited here several times with Family and Friends. A great traditional Pub. A wide range of drinks , friendly and helpful Services and reasonable Prices. No banks of TV Screens or Loud Music ( it does have some Live Music at times ). Great Place for a Chat and a couple of Pints !

Staying at a nearby Travelodge and looking for a dog friendly pub we came across The Derby Tup, warm welcome from the two guys serving, plenty of real ales to choose from so hubby was a Happy Chappie and also a good selection of gins for me 😊

Friendly and helpful Service , a pleasant Pub environment , an excellent range of Beers and very reasonable prices. I have now visited here several times. What is there not to like ?

I agree entirely with the previous Review regarding the Derby Tup. Lovely , traditional Pub serving an impressive range of Real Ales . which are always well-kept. Friendly Service and a basic , no frills environment. A place to have a drink and a chat. No Wide-Screen Televisions or Loud Music. Reasonable Prices and even a Roaring Open Fire. Shades of the Good Old Days ! Pure Bliss. I strongly recommend.

Spent New Years Eve here with friends and I fell in love with it. The Landlord is a woman called Chantell and she runs the pub brilliantly. No meals are available but good honest drinks are and the pub in general is well kept but like something from the 197's, a real thumbs up for me. These days too many pubs try to compete with each other but this local pub in the Chesterfield village (on the outskirts of Chesterfield) at Whittington Moor, Chesterfield, does not pretend to be anythin g more than a local village pub
