The ride along the beautiful Irish beach was absolutely wonderful. The horses were really gentle and well trained and were treated extremely well. Definitely worth it!

Both of our two-hour beach rides with Laurence (the son; there is also Laurence the father) were superb. We traversed the narrow peninsula several times with beautiful canters down both sides of the Atlantic coast including Ireland's longest beach and enjoyed the grassy sand dunes in between. The area was all but deserted and the glorious Irish sky and crashing waves made it unique in our experience which includes beach rides in other locales.
Laurence is appropriately safety-conscious and his relaxed, but attentive demeanor tell you that you are in good hands. He's also excellent company!
And the horses! We each rode Irish cob/draft horse crosses. Big girls with long, smooth strides. Well-trained and responsive to the riders' asks. High-quality well-maintained saddles, too, with cage stirrups for safety.
One of our best riding experiences ever!

A family group of 7 of us, including four teenage boys, we absolutely loved our 1-hour trek along the beach with O’Connors. Some of us were more experienced riders than others, but our guide made sure we were all looked after well and were matched with horses to suit our ability. The trek itself was fantastic, a beautiful route along the beach, with the chance to trot a few times along the way. We all really enjoyed our trek - highly recommended!

Fantastic company, very friendly and excellent with kids. One of the few companies we found that offer an experience suitable le for a 7 year old. Horses were healthy and well looked after and all equipment was in superb condition.
Just over an hour on the most beautiful quiet beach, walking and trotting in a small group.
Highly recommended - would definitely return. It has been the highlight of my daughters holiday so far!

Fantastic first time horse riding experience for my ten year old daughter and me. Our horses Molly and Hector were stars and all of the staff couldn’t have been nicer and more reassuring for two novices like us. We will definitely be back for another visit.

My husband, kids and I had a fabulous hour long trek on the beach and through the dunes. My daughters ride regularly and were excited to be able to trot along the beach. I don't have a lot of experience but Laurence managed it really well so that all abilities were catered for and everyone was comfortable and happy. This is a very well run family company; everyone was very friendly and helpful and the horses are very well cared for. Great experience and would highly recommend for any ability.

I'd read a couple of reviews saying this was the best trekking experience people had been on - and now I know why. I've done a lot of similarly advertised rides in lots of places, but this was hands down the best. No fuss, no frills, just healthy happy horses, friendly people, and stunning riding. Countless long canters along beautiful beaches. I will 100% be back and will tell everyone I know to go here.

Great experience for our first time on horse back. The horses were lead by one of the men (can’t remember his name unfortunately,sorry) for our safety because we are inexperienced. He gave us great info on horses , their age and behaviour; also about the area in general and the beaches. I hope to try again some time. Highly recommended

We booked in last minute for a trek along the beach in CastleGregory. I myself have riding experience but my partner had never been on a horse before but this wasn't a problem at all. We were welcomed with open arms and each given a horse that best suited our abilities. The trek along the beach and sand dunes was incredible and really was the highlight of our holiday!

This was the best canter ride that I have ever had. They were so friendly and helpful and made sure that I has the most suitable horse for my trek. I would go there again an would highly recommend it.
