We were recommended to head to Brennan’s and so glad we did. We remembered the pub from the recent TV ad and the pub was as expected. Lots of old memorabilia and pub untouched for years and years. Everyone welcomed and chats started in the bar and strangers joining in - perfect end to an evening

So... Saw a Netflix movie on Irish pubs and Brennan's was in it. Was in Northern Ireland / Republic of Ireland for 5 days and wanted to go here. It was out of the way for me but it was well worth it. Had a pour of Guinness and it was the best pint had all trip. Not saying I stopped in every pub for a taste but from Bushmills to Doolin to Killarney to Waterford to Dublin... it was the best I had!
Patrons were friendly and I even got to meet a war hero :^)
Highly recommend if you're in town.

Time warp. Superb little bar as it was many years ago. Little has changed except the drink. The Guiness is superb and it is a great spot to chat with the locals or bar owner. Catch it while you can the landlady is still changing the barrels at nearly 80 - she chats away and you feel you are in a great place

Nice old pub. Guinness is €4.30 a pint. Worth a visit if you are going to be nearby. Found out about the place from watching the film “ The Irish Pub.”

Oldest pub in the village, over 117 years old and owned by one family. Wonderful atmosphere and people.

Having watched The Irish Pub on Netflix, my friends and I were determined to visit Brennan's Pub in Bundoran. We were not disappointed. As we knew, there's no music, no singing, no cursing and no TV. It's a wonderful place to sit and enjoy a great conversation. We were saddened to learn that one of the sister's, Nan had passed away a short time before we visited. We did meet Patricia and she still runs the Pub. Such a wonderful person who was most gracious to my golfing buddies and me. I was impressed when we asked who changes the kegs for you and she replied, "I do it!!" I see kids in America who want help doing it! Anyway, stop in and visit this great pub in Bundoran. One thing to remember, Patricia doesn't open up the Pub until 6pm. (at least during the week, I'm not sure about the weekend). It's worth a visit to meet this woman who by the way pours an outstanding pint!!

What an awesome wee pub. Great service, dinky and quaint. Would recommend drinking at the bar location as this is were all the craic is. Good old fashioned Irish bar with no nonsense service. Would recommend you do not walk by this wee bar.

as announced in the local newspaper, Nan Brennan, one of the sweet elderly ladies who ran the Criterion Bar, passed away mid August. So sad. Deepest sympathy to her sister Patricia and family.

Brennan's is a local institution. A traditional pub with a bar and a saloon. We had great Guinness and enjoyed a chat with one of the infamous owners - 2 lovely ladies. Nan who we spoke to said she was over 90 and still working the bar. Amazing. A warm reception. We loved our experience there.
