A recap of The Titanic and Cobh for an upcoming exam brought me to Titanic experience,and it didn't disappoint,Jackie was our guide and as a guide myself it was a pleasure to have had the experience of her tour,her knowledge, charisma and passion transported us back to Cobh for Titanics final stop.You could feel the excitement of people waiting to board the tenders to take the to Titanic and a new life..Everything about the exhibition captivates the visitor and you will leave with a new impression of The most famous ship ever built..Congratulations to all at Titanic Experience and once again thanks Jackie for a fantastic experience.

Lovely day out today at the titanic experience staff were very helpful and full of facts about the titanic the tour was well executed by the guide and gave a really emersive experience thoroughly recommended

Great place to visit - history of the building is amazing & very well preserved. Tour guide we had & all the staff were very knowledgeable and helpful. Personal stories of the ticket holders was very effective.
Rooms are small but accessible with buggy and clean changing facilities on site.

Had a great visit there yesterday, Joan was an excellent guide and narrator. The experience is just that, looked at from the point of view of the 135 Irish who’s fateful journey was out of despair, and who’s departure was a bittersweet combination of sadness and hope.
The building itself is highly authentic being the White Star Ticket Office complete with original timber carving above the entrance on the inside of the entrance door, ‘heartbreak pier’ being the original remains of the place used by the 2 passenger tenders.

I came to Ireland to visit my son who is studying at UCC. Cobh was not far and we took a chance on a nice day trip. The staff was great. Lots of great information and history. Our tour guide was educated and funny.

This was a great experience from start to finish, on arrival we was greeted by Joan who would be our guide for the first part . She had lots of information and was very informative. After the guided tour you can walk round the rest of the exhibition by yourself lots to look at ,pictures videos quizzes. Lovely gift shop good prices, All staff were very hospitable. Price per adult 12euro well worth the visit.

I had a great time here! We were very impressed by our tour guide Joan. It was so cool to see the real port and dock that people set sail from in Cobh. The immersive experience was very interesting and the exhibits afterwards were very informative. A great activity for families or solo travelers!

we went for a study trip and absolutely loved it. great way to learn more about the history while incorporating interactive elements. joan was wonderful, highly recommend!

My daughter and I visited today the Titanic experience today. Despite my fear of deep waters and reservations to take the tour myself, our tour guide was very reassuring and great at calming my fears. The exhibit was beautifully laid out. Visually walking outside to the waiting area where the fated guests boarded the shuttle to the ship gave us me chills. I will recommend this to all who visit Ireland!

I’m really sorry but out of my remit.
They were very easy going but do limit the tours to max of 20 people as you all still need to hear the tour and ask questions.

I'm visiting the Titanic experience in June and trying to decide whether to do the Titanic Insight Tour (includes sights in Cobh) or the general admission ticket. Any suggestions?

Hi Rena,
Thank you for your enquiry. Our visitor attraction is wheelchair accessible. We have a permanent ramp outside the building as well as a motorized ramp inside the building, located at our side entrance (as opposed to the main entrance which is located between the statues of the gold lions). There is a bell located at this side entrance and once rung our staff will be happy to assist entry at this side of the building. Please do not hesitate to call at 021-481 4412 for any further enquiries.

Titanic Experience Cobh Tells the personal stories of the 123 Irish passengers who boarded Titanic on her last stop at Cobh (then Queenstown). It is based in the original white star line ticket office building.

Siobhan I have been to the museum and graves in Halifax Canada. It was very moving. Would it be worth traveling 3 hours each way to visit the museum in Cobh as a day trip?

I was in the Cork-Cobh area to see other attractions. And I realy like the town of Cohb. Titanic display is good to see if you are nearby or in town, I would not make a special trip or go more than 10 miles out of my way for just the titanic experience.

The first half of the tour is a guided tour of approximately 30 minutes. There is a general exhibition room where you can spend as much time as you like. Typically this would also be 30 minutes.
So allow at least 1 hour.
