We just got back from 10 amazing days traveling around Ireland with our daughter and 2 year old granddaughter. We stayed in a castle, toured caves,an abbey, monastery, waterfalls, beaches, the Ring of Kerry, the Dingle Peninsula, the Cliffs of Mohr. We stayed in Adare, Killarney, Spanish Point, Galway, and Dublin. The trip was well organized, planned and executed! The accommodations were outstanding! Our driver, Pat Buckley was professional, knowledgeable, witty, and kind.

This trip was a family affair that included 10 adults, one toddler and spanned 3 generations, age 20 months to 62 years. We were ambitious and planned to cover 5 cities and meet several extended relatives throughout our 2-week visit. We knew an acquaintance that had used Ireland Chauffeur so that was our impetus to contact the business during our pre planning stage. Through sheer luck, we were assigned Kieran Elliot as our driver for our 2-week visit to Ireland. Suffice to say he was outstanding and made our trip memorable, enjoyable, delightful for all. This is my first review that I have ever written (likely my last), but Kieran was such a consummate professional, knowledgeable driver and guide, that I felt compelled to provide a brief review. This was not only my perception of our experience but also that of my entire family including my 20 month old grand daughter who thoroughly enjoyed several renditions of 'Wheels on the bus" with the wipers that go swish, swish, swish! Thank you Kieran, you were the best!

We had a wonderful vacation the first week of September. We cannot say enough about our tour company, Ireland Chauffeur Travel! Our 10 day trip was seamless. Sarah Last was our Tour Consultant and she thought of everything. I left an item in Ireland and she worked hard, even after we returned to the states, to make sure it got to me ahead of schedule. Bob Noonan was our Tour Guide and he was absolutely the best! As the week went on and he got to know us a little better, he changed some of the sites we were supposed to see, to sites he thought we may enjoy more. He did a great job! If you are in the planning stages, you can't go wrong with Ireland Chauffeur Travel!

The MOST accommodating, friendly, supportive, helpful people ever to arrange our trip! Somehow, they got all of our requests fit into our agenda even adding last minute stops requested. Sarah was so kind and helpful. Bob, our driver, was easygoing, helpful, and accommodating. we hope to go back to Northern Ireland, or maybe an agriculture intensive tour, and would only use Sarah and Bob!

We extended an organized ten-day bus tour of Ireland by four days, August 30 – September 2, 2023, and were extremely fortunate to have found Ireland Chauffeur Travel to assist us. Sam Manton, our Private Tour Consultant with Ireland Chauffeur Travel, was wonderful and very flexible in accommodating all of our desires and putting together a fun-filled, exciting itinerary for us that included everything we wished to experience as well as many other recommended items of interest . Booking and scheduling were extremely easy, efficient, responsive, and perfectly executed. Thank you, Sam! You were wonderful to work with!
Our AWESOME driver, Michael Buckley, was a perfect match and quickly became part of our family! Always prompt and professional, Michael picked us up at 10 AM each day in a Mercedes van and dropped us off at our hotel about 6PM each evening (sometimes a little later ). During the day, he flawlessly handled our itinerary, as well as managing events that required tickets and reservations. We had to switch one day’s events entirely with another due to an illness and Michael handled that perfectly without a hitch. Michael added many interesting places to our itinerary and was always a wealth of Irish knowledge and lore, He even brought us to a quaint Gastropub in Tipperary for lunch on our last day where we were treated like royalty! In the end, we got to do everything we had hoped to and much, much more thanks to Michael (don’t forget to ask Michael to sing “40 Shades of Green” by Johnny Cash!). After Michael dropped us off at our hotel on the last day, all four of us felt sad, as though we were saying goodbye to one of our Family. Michael, thank you so much for making our vacation so wonderful and memorable!

Ireland Chauffeur was outstanding. Alison & Ellen were very responsive to all our requests.
Our driver, Michael Stritch, was very professional, friendly, knowledgeable & humorous. He made our 9 day tour a real joy. Michael also made itinerary change suggestion that turned out great.
We highly recommend requesting Michael as your driver.

I will start by saying we had the trip of a LIFETIME with Ireland Chauffeur Travel. My husband and I decided in July to book a trip to Ireland for August (4 weeks before our travel date) with our two young children, and we never could have done this without Ireland Chauffeur Travel, Alma, and all of their incredible staff and experience. Our itinerary was spot-on and we loved their recommendations for places to see and hotels to stay in. I highly recommend The Merrion in Dublin, Kilkea Castle, and The Great Southern Killarney. Possibly the BEST part of our trip was Toby, our driver/friend, who went above and beyond to make my family and I content during all moments of our stay (which isn't easy with a 6 & 7 year old and lots of driving on the itinerary, but he somehow managed it!) By the end of the trip my kids, my husband and I all truly missed him! Toby was the example of a perfect gentleman and I couldn't appreciate his kindness and expertise any more than I do. Thank you for a magical experience through the most beautiful country. We can't wait to come back!

Sarah was wonderful coordinating our itinerary. She was so kind and patient with all my emails and phone calls. We had never been to Ireland and didn't know where to start. We wanted to see as much as we could in the time we had. Sarah gave us an itinerary that did just that.
Tom, our driver, was very professional. Our vehicle was always very clean. We enjoyed his knowledge of the area and history of the country. He would drive through towns explaining some of the history and walk us though others pointing out things to do and recommended places to eat. He was very charming and witty and we enjoyed his company very much!
This trip was three years in the making. It was a surprise to my husband for his 60th birthday and Ireland Chauffeur Travels helped make it a trip of a lifetime that we loved and will always remember!

Exceptional trip throughout Ireland with our amazing driver/guide Mike Stritch. Alma from ICT and Mike, in combination, succeeded in turning our coarse outline schedule into a well organized and coherent tour.
Mike was truly excellent in providing context for everything we saw, as well as suggesting stops and locations we would never have known to ask for.
This, together with his amiable and strong character, made this a trip to remember.

My family had a wonderful experience with Ireland Chauffeur Travel. Ten of us spent 9 days in Ireland including the Cliffs of Moher, the Burren, Adare, Bunratty, the Ring of Kerry, Killarney, and the Dingle Penninsula. Mick was our guide and he was excellent. i believe we saw many more sites than we would have on our own thanks to him. He is an amazing driver and he constantly went out of his way to provide us with extras - recommendations, side-trips, insights, etc. He was very kind and accommodating but most importantly he had a great sense of humor and kept us laughing the entire trip.

What would the charge be for a day trip from Dublin for 2 people to see Windtown, Westmeath and if possible Cobh City with pick up and drop off at the ship? We will be on a cruise that only has one day in Dublin - July 20,2024.

That is probably going to be 9 hours of driving without any stops. It takes longer getting around in Ireland that what google tells you.
Maybe something like Kilkenny and Wicklow mountains would be a great day trip?

The return is 31 May 2023 Pickup Steeltown, Derry City 07:00 for 13.55 flight from Dub to Phl for 1 person.

I cannot answer the amount for your itinerary. We booked Ireland Chauffeur Travel for five days. Pick up was at the Kerry Airport heading north and then west. Our drop off was in Belfast. We had our driver from 9am to 5/6pm every day. Total amount was 4800 euro for four people.

We're a group of 9 adults and are interested in a 5 day chauffeured tour of Ireland beginning in Killkenny, stopping in cobh, Kenmare, through the Ring of Kerry, Bunratty, Dillon and ending in Galway. We have hotels arranged and have a list of places - ie Cahir, Cashel, Cork, Cliffs of Mohr, Burren etc.and would be happy to work with our driver oh stops, etc. Our time frame is leaving Kilkenny the morning of May 12 and arriving Galway the afternoon of May 16th.
Any suggestions?

What would it cost to hire a driver to take 3 or 4 people around the country for 17 days. Itinerary and hotels already booked but now thinking it would be better to hire a driver vs. Renting a car.

Hi Charles, all quotes are based on individual itinerary requirements. A general rule of thumb would be approx 700 per day for driver guide, luxury Mercedes-Benz’s and all related expenses for vehicle and guide including overnights. Hope this helps.
